Zander Insurance Identity Theft Protection Review
ConsumersAdvocate.org
Best for Premium Features
Zander Insurance offers two levels of identity theft protection. Its Essential plan includes a wide range of features including home title fraud protection, unlimited restoration services, $1 million in coverage for stolen funds and legal expenses, dark web, change of address, and social security number monitoring, data breach updates, and lost wallet services. When you step up to Zander Insurance's Elite plan, the company adds a Virtual Private Network (VPN), anti-virus software, new account monitoring, account takeover monitoring, and Experian Credit Lock feature. Both plans come with 24/7 customer service and restoration. In addition, dependent adults are covered, too. Zander offers a family option for both levels of service, though with the Elite service, only two family members are covered. So if you have kids, the Elite plan is the only truly effective option. When you add family members, your stolen funds insurance coverage increases to $2 million. In addition, the Elite plan offers service for up to 20 devices.

Zander Insurance's plans are among the least expensive we've reviewed. All plans are available without signing a long-term contract. An individual Essentials plan costs just $6.75 per month or $75 per year. That cost goes up to $12.90 or $145 per year for a family plan. An individual Elite plan costs $9.99 per month or $110 per year. The Elite family plan is priced at $19.49 per month or $215 per year. But it's the combination of reasonable prices and multiple benefits that make Zander Insurance's identity protection plans a great value.
Zander Insurance has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Consumers have filed a handful of complaints, but Zander is a multi-faceted insurance agency, not all complaints relate to identity theft protection services. The company has been around since 1927 and offers health, life, auto, disability insurance, and more. Overall Zander Insurance is a sold company and customers should feel confident working with the company.
