Factor, formerly known as Factor 75, offers a science-based way to eat great tasting food that improves how your mind and body perform. The company is headquartered in Illinois and delivers to customers across the entire continental US. Customers can order organic, keto, paleo, and gluten-free options with locally-sourced ingredients that don’t sacrifice taste and variety. Factor has a Trustpilot score of 8.6.

Factor - Overview

Factor offers a variety of health-conscious meal delivery options including Ketogenic, Paleo, gluten-free, low-carb, and dairy-free. Customers can choose 4, 6, 8, 12, or 18 meals a week, mixing and matching between all of the above options that are contained in the current menu. The company does not freeze their dishes but ships them in state of the art, zero-oxygen packaging that inhibits the growth of microorganisms. These packages are recyclable, made of insulated crystallizable polyethylene terephthalate, and cooled in transit by gel packs so they stay fresh even when traveling long distances. Meals arrive Monday - Wednesday and need just to be heated in the microwave or oven. Factor offers options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Factor has a nutrition team of registered dietitians dedicated to personalizing a customer’s journey toward optimal health. 20-minute weekly consults are available (the first one is complimentary!), and each customer can purchase additional levels of nutrition coaching and DNA testing.

Types of Diets

KETOGENIC - Diet consists of low carb intake, medium protein level, and high levels of "high quality" fat. Theoretically this diet causes your liver to produce "ketones" which your body uses as fuel instead of glucose. These ketones use the high quality fat in the food as fuel and thusly can improve lipid levels. Some of the benefits can include increased endurance, better mental focus and cardiovascular health.

PALEO -  This diet attributes inflammation to starch, sugar, and modern processed food and thus attempts to replicate a diet more similar to what our ancestors ate on the barren and frozen ice-age tundra, but, of course, using modern, food safety standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and storage. This includes lean protein, healthy fats, lower-glycemic carbs, and organic vegetables and fruits. Benefits can include better sleep, gastrointestinal health, more energy, and less inflammation.

GLUTEN-FREE - Diet eliminating any grain or processed items containing gluten, including wheat, barley, and rye. This type of diet is absolutely crucial to those afflicted with Celiac Disease.

ORGANIC - Organic foods avoid the fertilizers, pesticides, additives, and growth regulators associated with modern agricultural techniques. This includes organic produce, free range poultry, pork, and meat, as well as wild caught fish not spawned in fish farms.  Benefits can include better taste and avoidance of certain chemicals and pesticides.

Delivery and Subscription Model

Factor offers 5 different plan options. Customers do not need to be home to receive delivery as the boxes are insulated and will maintain freshness. In most cases the meals will be there when you return home from work. Boxes can also be sent to work at any commercial address. Plans work on a subscription model, and customers can pause delivery for up to two weeks in advance on the website. The cut off time for pausing delivery is midnight Wednesday Central Time the week prior to delivery. Customers' payment method will be charged on a weekly basis each Thursday prior to delivery indefinitely, until the service is canceled.

Factor - Conclusion

Factor is an excellent option for those looking to pursue a ketogenic, paleo, gluten-free, or organic lifestyle. These diets can carry many benefits, including increased energy and mental sharpness, as well as cardiovascular health and weight loss. Factor makes it easy to choose these kinds of dishes and offers an extremely flexible schedule of plans that can accommodate those who want partially commit, to those who want to eat their products for basically every meal. The company's subscription model is straightforward, customers are billed every Thursday for the next week's food until they cancel. All in all, a convenient and easy way to gain access to these kinds of specialized diets.

I signed up for many reasons on for your services. one of them being convenience and ease of preparing food. I received the first box of 10 meals on A Wednesday and was making notes of each meal, I liked and didn't like, so i could rule out the meals . I went on the site to take out the meals I didn't like and add more of the ones i did!! I went on the site which I found to be totally hard to navigate. the site indicated that the next shipment was scheduled to go out on May 4, 2022 I tried to add meals that i liked, only to find out the company picked all new meals for me, most of them meals I don't want, I picked the first weeks meals, so at the least i would expect them to remain the... I have been trying it for a few weeks now. I recommend doing an effort and sticking to the "smart calories" plan for about a month( or more if you like); It's a great choice to lose some weight without having to cook or count the calories yourself. So far I haven't had any problems with it. Here is a discount link if you like to give it a try: https://go.factor75.com/plans?c=HS-U6R6TVAX7&plans_ab=true&utm_campaign=clipboard&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=raf-share-hpt Good Luck!

My first box was two days late and the cardboard meal wraps were wet and everything was thawed. I heated the salmon dish first as the other three meals are plant based. I thought it bland.

Meals are bland and monotonous. Delivery is unreliable--did not even receive my delivery one week. But the deal breaker was sitting down to eat a chicken breast meal--whic congtaned no chicken breats--just some nasty sauce and brussel sprouts. Expensive mistake I won't make again. I unsubscribed.

I’m really having an issue with my meals being delivered on time. I seem to be on the phone with them every week with main complaint meals not being delivered on schedule delivery day! I thought Fed X was bad but the Axcel company they are using now is based out of Dallas, Tx. My meals are due to arrive on Tuesday but I’m not getting them until Wednesday. They are being delivered from Dallas to Houston in a non refrigerated pickup truck. Last week wasn’t even delivered to my front porch but left at the street!!!! Poor poor delivery service. For this reason I can only give a one star rating.

Great Food, AWFUL customer service and you MUST take the temperature of each meal when it arrives or you could get sick! I thought Factor75 was awful because of the ongoing problems with FedEx late delivery and their laughable customer service that lies and makes promises they can't and won't keep. But it's more serious than that. If you insist on buying their food, you MUST take a thermometer to every package of food. After receiving 3 shipments a day late (so food was spoiled), I had two that weren't late, felt cold to the touch but were dangerous to consumer. they felt cold but if you stuck a thermometer in the packages, the temperature ranged from 44 degrees to 59 degrees -... They can't deliver on time. I tried Factor Meals, but it took them 3 days to get the food to me. So by the time the meals arrive the food is already 3 days old, and has been sitting in a box on a truck. Not my idea of fresh prepared food. My meals went straight in the dumpster.

Do not order from them! I have been trying for two weeks to cancel my order, and they keep charging me. You cannot reach anybody by phone, and never respond to any correspondence. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!
