I have used this moving company on three occasions now, and each time I was very impressed with the services offered by them. As I work from home, it is important for me to be able to set up in a new place as quickly as possible. It is possible if you use their services. As well as getting the usual service from a moving company, they will collect and put your new furniture together, mount shelves, curtain rails, blinds, and do any other odd jobs there are to do when setting up in a new place. I was only left with unpacking the personal stuff.
If I could give them six stars, I would! We moved a two story house this past weekend, and it went flawlessly. From the moment I called to get a quote to the follow up phone call after the move was done, Nationwide Moving Services management was extremely professional, attentive and helpful. The crew of six guys was also professional, easy to work with and SO FAST. I would recommend this company to anyone who asks!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I had a move last month in which I paid almost $3000.00 for they scheduled my pick up before even discussing the move i told them a specific date i needed my stuff by because i was starting work in another state clear across the country! the assured me i would have my stuff my the date i gave them , the pick up was smooth no complaints there but the drop off was horrible!!! First the compmay that they contracted me with for the drop off was rude it took me days to finally get ahold of anyone and when i finally did get ahold of someone they didnt even have a drive and said they wouldnt have a drive for atleast a MONTH so my stuff was sitting in storage in a... DO NOT CHOOSE THIS SLEAZEBAG OPERATION!!! I was scheduled for a move today and had been quoted close to 431 cubic feet and an amount in the area of $3300 . I was charged a deposit of $1046 and my son was charged $400 when they rechecked the cf and upped it some (close to $1K extra). The driver arrived this morning and assessed the move and said it was closer to 1100 cf and $6K!!! That's a HUGE DIFFERENCE!! VERY DECEPTIVE practices going on and was UNABLE to get ahold of either "quality assurance" agents we'd talked to and the 'customer service' agent was very ugly and talked over me and said we would NOT get our money back!!! Their price and service quality is unbeatable. They have made our move so much easier. Great service and quick reply throughout all stages of our move. Already recommended it to my friends.
I can't say enough about how smooth and positive my daughter's recent move was with this company. The move was a short distance, but the manager still took the time to wrap and pack everything quickly and with care. He was responsive with my questions and time sensitive on the day of the move. They showed up a few minutes early and got right to work at the appointed time. We encountered a non-functioning freight elevator in the apartment building on the day of the move and this didn't faze at all.
This is our second time working with Nationwide Moving Services and they did not disappoint. We initially hired them to move us from downtown Chicago to the suburbs initially and were extremely happy with how they handled our move so we decided to hire them a second time to help us move from one suburb to another. We had shrink wrapped all our furniture to help the move go faster and ensure none of our drawers would open during the move. They did shrink wrap our four-seater couch for us for an extra fee. Nothing was lost or damaged and it was all moved efficiently at a competitive price. Couldn't ask for more.
This company did a great job with my move into temporary storage. They arrived on time, completed the move in a short period of time and were very thoughtful in packing my storage unit and careful with all of my items. I would definitely recommend the team to anyone looking for top notch movers with many years of experience in the industry. I would never use anyone else.
Moving to a new apartment is normally a very stressful experience. There's packing, giving notices, figuring out expenses, logistics, and then additional costs that seemingly come out of nowhere. this company made this process as stress free as humanly possible. I reached out via email and within the hour , manager got back to me with an estimate. The costs were transparent, reasonable, and the appointment was booked. Nationwide Moving Services is the best moving company that I've used. VERY efficient, fast, and on top of everything their pricing was much better than some other quotes that we received. This also includes the cost to pack up our kitchen. They were super responsive throughout the entire process as well, including checking in with me a few times during the actual move process to see how everything was going in real time. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company in the area!
