FitOn’s selection of trainers, wide variety of workout types, and sheer number of videos make it an excellent choice for consumers looking to get fit at home or at work. The personalized workout plans make it easy for users of all levels to get started, and the additional features of the membership program are worth considering—especially the meal plans. Moreover, the fact that nearly all of its content and features are free put it far ahead of the pack in terms of affordability.

It’s important to remember that studio-style classes are not the best option for everyone, though. We recommend FitOn for consumers in general, but more so for those who are already in shape and are looking to work on key areas or doing specific types of workouts.

FitOn Workout Program

Workout Program - 5 / 5

When signing up for FitOn, users are first asked their body dimensions. Then, they must specify their workout goals, the number of workouts they want per week, the amount of time they have to work out per day, and the number of weeks they want to start with. Lastly, users are asked to pick their favorites from a wide variety of classes offered by FitOn. These include yoga, Pilates, barre, strength training, cardio, and high-intensity interval training.

Once a user has finished this preliminary questionnaire, their account is be created and updated with a personalized workout plan. On the “program” tab of the app, users can also see their recommended daily fixes and challenges.

Most FitOn workouts require no extra equipment, and many are easy-to-follow activities that can be done alone or with friends. Classes are streamed by world-class trainers and celebrities, trainers, such as Gabrielle Union and Johnathan Van Ness. Users can search for videos by duration, ability level, intensity, celebrity, or trainer.

Those with FitOn Pro also get access to personalized meal plans. When creating a plan, users are asked basic questions, including the type of diet they follow, how many meals they eat per day, and the type of eating habits they struggle with. Free users can take this questionnaire as well, but will be asked to subscribe to FitOn Pro to get started.

FitOn Reputation

Reputation - 4.5 / 5

FitOn does not have a page on the BBB or on Trustpilot. Evaluating FitOn’s reputation without an entry on at least one of these two sites is somewhat difficult. However, the app itself does have numerous individual ratings on the Google and Apple app stores — 33,360 and 174,988 ratings, respectively, to be exact. It has a 5-star rating in both stores based on those ratings. Positive on both stores frequently mention the variety of FitOn’s exercise library and the flexibility of its workout planning features. A few negative reviews complained about a lack of accessibility features, including for hard-of-hearing individuals.
