RememBear, from the makers of TunnelBear, is a password manager application with a free and pay version. Users who download the client are able to use it to save and autofill all their online passwords on all devices. With RememBear, passwords can be synched across all computers, phones, and tablets. The service features end to end security, AES256 encryption, and is also independently audited to ensure security standards are consistently maintained.

RememBear offers two levels of password manager, a free and premium version. Both have an easy-to-use and pleasing design that is stylistically similar to the company's much loved TunnelBear VPN application. RememBear enables customers to autofill passwords for all sites, including credit card and payment information, making purchasing items online considerably easier. With RememBear, customers no longer need to remember multiple passwords for various internet sites. The program stores all passwords in one place and accesses them automatically, removing the need for resets. 

RememBear also features the ability to store and protect sensitive notes for future access. Finally, the service allows users to synch passwords across all devices with the premium plan. 

SECURITY

The larger TunnelBear organization main emphasis is on security. In fact, the company's guiding principal is that the internet is a better place when people can brose privately the same internet regardless of their location, or country's restrictions. TunnelBear seeks to accomplish this by providing sleek, attractive security apps that are easy for anyone to use. Like TunnelBear, RememBear's interface is extremely user friendly.

RememBear features end-to-end security for users' sensitive data. The platform's super strong AES256 encryption ensures that clients' information stays encrypted on RememBear servers and is only decrypted when it is accessed by users on authenticated devices. Clients must only remember one master password that is used to unlock their RememBear account. The platform provides a New Device Key (NDK) in order to make master passwords as unique as possible. This feature adds a series of random characters to your password that literally makes it one of millions of possible variations. 

RememBear utilizes a form of Diffie-Hellman key exchange which allows their servers to verify a user's master password without actually knowing it. This is especially helpful if a hacker gained access to RememBear's physical servers, as there would be no actual master passwords to steal. 

RememBear has also published a complete 3rd party audit of its security services. Independent contractor Cure53 reviewed the company's infrastructure, apps, and servers and found no critical vulnerabilities.

Although it a relatively new service, customers can rely on the reputation for satisfaction and usability that comes with the larger TunnelBear name. The main things RememBear has going for it is ease of use and top notch security. A solid option for those looking for a password manager, especially for those who may not be 100% tech savvy.
