David Cruz of Anthem Tax Service was fantastic, he spoke to me for about an hour late one Friday night and said he would do some research before charging me anything. He sent me a form to sign and 2 business later he got back to me with good news. He didn't charge me any fee.
I agreed with this past clients who gave Anthem a 1 star. I'm a tax victim who gave this company $7500 to help with our tax problems. The end result was bad. They got us a non streamlined payment plan with the IRS that included interest and penalties and a tax lien. I already had a tax lien from 2011 you will think they help you not get another one on my tax record. Make matter short they promised to reduce your tax balance and they didn't do that either. This company will keep in contact with you until your balance is paid in full without doing nothing about your case? They keep you in the dark on your case. Had 5 case manager for 21 months. Anthem Tax is interested in selling the idea of relief and protection by professionals from the IRS but they cannot do either. They did nothing after taking our money except delay and ignore us until we owe nearly double what it was when we hired them for $3200. They tried last year, at over 2 years on the case to get us to sign a settlement agreement to pay the full amount, no penalty abatement or anything. Nothing at all was done to resolve the problems we have with the audits, like a 1099 that is not ours for one year, and the auditor not using our 1040X for the second year. This was the best call I ever made. Call it now if you have tax debt hanging over your head every time you think of investing in a home, property, stock market, or anything else. Within a matter of minutes I was so relieved to speak to an Anthem advocate and know I was in capable hands. I can't say enough about how positive and free I felt after putting off the call for a year after years of tax nightmares. Anthem is the way to go!
So far they have been great. Sam has been very understanding and easy to get a hold of. Whenever I have a question they are Quick to return a phone call. I would recommend them to anyone in need.
Be very careful here people. They asked for 1500.00, guaranteed results All they did was set up a payment plan, which your account, bookkeeper, or CPA can do for 250-300 month. I was told that their attorneys were going to negotiate on my behalf. After 4 month, I received another 300plus interest bill from the IRS. Wen I called the number on the IRS bill, I asked her hasn't Anthem Tax been negotiating on my behalf. She NO, no one has negotiated on your behalf. Save your money as this company does a terrible job. They said the IRS had agreed to an installment plan but the IRS says the agreement was never finalized. I reached out to Anthem and they said they would help if I paid more money, which I refused and now they won't return my phone calls or emails. They also are not honoring their 100% money back guarantee. SCAM.

I'd like to leave a review specifically for Misty Cicero. I wasn't in debt super deep like some may be, but I was enough to where I felt that I needed to do something about it as I couldn't get it paid in one lump sum payment and wanted help on the total. She was hands down the best customer service rep I've dealt with. Took the time to thoroughly listen to my situation, reviewed everything and followed up with appropriate solution options. Solutions that obviously got me out of debt! I couldn't be happier. Anthem and Misty, thank you for your assistance.
