Hulu offers subscribers both on-demand and live streaming. Hulu on-demand plans start at just $5.99 per month, but you will have to watch commercials if you choose this ultra-low price option. You can step up to an ad-free version of on-demand streaming for $11.99 per month. Currently, Hulu is offering a 30-day free trial with both of these packages.

When you select Hulu's combination plan, Hulu + Live TV, the price of service jumps considerably to $64.99, which is in line with combination plans offered by other TV streaming companies. However, Hulu is offering a 3-month, $10 discount and a 7-day free trial to encourage customers to try its top-tier service. You can switch plans any time and Hulu does not require users to sign a long-term contract. If you select Hulu's combination plan, toggling between on-demand and Live TV viewing is simple because users control their service selection themselves with a simple on/off switch. 

Hulu allows subscribers to view on two screens simultaneously and create six viewer profiles. Many streaming services we've reviewed allow simultaneous viewing on more devices. So if you have a large family or lots of roommates, Hulu may not suit your needs.
