Philo TV Streaming Services Review
ConsumersAdvocate.org
Simplicity is a virtue and for customers who don't want to be overwhelmed by choices, confusing cost structures, or complex user interfaces, Philo delivers the right kind of experience. While the Philo catalog can't match the breadth of some competitors'—a subscription gives you access to 60-plus channels—their offering does include many popular channels for a wide range of ages and interests. Notably, Phil customers pay just $25 per month for service. That's it. One simple price for one simple plan. For some customers, Philo might not offer the customization they crave. But we suspect that for many others, that's the easy answer they're looking for.
Philo does offer customers who are interested in a somewhat broader range of shows to watch a couple of straight-forward, low-priced, add-on channel options: Epix and STARZ.
Philo offers customers unlimited DVR storage. The app permits streaming on three devices simultaneously and is compatible with Roku, Android Phone/Tablet, iPhone/iPad, Web Browsers, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV. We were particularly impressed by the video quality and speed that Philo delivers.
