Our Overall Rating: 4.1 / 5 (Excellent)

WalletHub is one of the better free credit reporting applications. The main differentiator here is the daily credit score and credit report. As far as we know, no other free credit reporting service does this. The company also does a really good job showing you in a clear, personalized, and easy to understand way exactly what factors are contributing to your credit score. However, when compared to applications like Mint which get into the minute transaction details of all your accounts, WalletHub is more general and big picture. Be that as it may, the company has an excellent reputation among users and its real time email, text, and mobile app alerts are particularly handy.

Credit Score & Reports

Report Details and Frequency - 4 / 5

WalletHub is the only online credit reporting service we are aware of that allows you to monitor changes to your score and report on a daily basis for free. Most services, especially free services, will update you monthly or quarterly. This is of particular interest to customers wanting to break down how their activities affect their credit in the most minute detail. WalletHub provides you with your TransUnion report, so if you want to monitor your Experian and Equifax score you'll have to look elsewhere. Additionally, as with so many online credit services, WalletHub uses the VantageScore model, not the official FICO score. Although many lenders are increasingly taking the VantageScore into account, the vast majority still use the official FICO score. This is why patrons of websites like WalletHub and Credit Karma are often surprised to discover the score they got from said website does not match the score used by whichever financial institution they are dealing with to get a loan, buy a car, etc.

Monitoring & Tools

Credit Bureau & Credit Scores - 4.5 / 5

WalletHub is a great, free tool for monitoring your credit report and credit score, and learning about personal finance overall. The company's credit analysis feature is a great way for customers to learn exactly what they need to do to improve their credit score. However, you will not have the ability to see what's happening within individual accounts. WalletHub also does not offer anything in the way of identity theft protection or dispute resolution, but this is common for free services. Finally, WalletHub's alerts are excellent for a free service, as they will notify you immediately of any change to your report via whichever method you select.

WalletHub Plans & Pricing

Plans and Pricing - 4 / 5

WalletHub is a totally free service. You will not need to provide any payment information and the credit inquiries will not affect your score. However, as with similar sites, by signing up you agree that information on your creditworthiness will be passed on to WalletHub's advertisers. You will be offered financial products customized to your credit score and report. If you sign up for one of these products, WalletHub then gets paid.

WalletHub Reputation & Support

Monitoring and Extra Features - 4 / 5

Although WalletHub has an A grade with the BBB, this is only based on one review. The company, however, has a generally favorable reputation across other review sites and a solid Trustpilot score. Since WalletHub is a genuinely free service (they ask for no credit card or for you to purchase anything) you can never be charged monthly or yearly subscription fees without your consent, a common scam with "free credit report" websites. Customers who praise WalletHub cite the free daily score, free online tools, and handy alerts through text, email, and mobile app.

About 8 months ago I opened my first credit card with Capital One and used it mostly for gas. I was always on time with payments and started with a score around 660. Then I made a dumb decision. I got a Best Buy card for something I could have just saved for. I was paying it down (from $1,000 to about $200 in a few months), but I missed a payment because the process was confusing. That late payment dropped my score by about 45 points. The next month I paid on time, but didn’t realize it would take 2–3 business days to post, so it counted as another late payment. My score crashed to 141 points. I went from around 660 down to 485, and even after trying to rebuild I was only sitting at 503. ...Read More

My FICO score was stuck around 640. I had a few credit card collections from a few years back (two around $1,200 each) plus a closed loan account for $4,000. I was ready to start paying them off and clean up my report so I could finally get pre-approved for a house. I kept hearing about pay-for-delete options or negotiating lump-sum settlements myself at around 50%, but I wasn’t sure where to start. Then someone on Reddit recommended Pinnacle Credit Specialist. I contacted them, and within a few weeks they completely turned my credit around. They raised my scores to: Experian: 811, TransUnion: 809, Equifax: 801 and deleted all the negative items from my credit reports. Thanks to the work ...Read More

I was in a really rough spot with my credit. My scores were Experian 596, TransUnion 580, and Equifax 545. I had four collection accounts (ranging from $105 to $635), two Capital One cards that were charged off with balances of $475 and $505, and a recent repossession with a $15,500 balance after auction. On top of that, I had just gotten approved for a Truist cash-secured credit card with a $500 limit. I knew I needed serious help if I ever wanted to qualify for better credit products. Someone on Reddit recommended Pinnacle Credit Specialist. I reached out to them a few weeks ago, and the difference has been night and day. They worked on my report and managed to get all of the negativ...Read More

As stated in the title, my credit score jumped from 635 to 847 this month. I was impressed and proud of PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST. I was originally going to log into the Kuwaiti credit score app at the end of August, but I was bored and had nothing to do. When I saw the jump, I was like I didn't even get my monthly pay yet. This is the Kuwaiti system, run by CINET. If this was my score in the US, how would things be for me? I am currently working on my second loan, took my first one back in December 2022, closed it September 2023 very early. Second loan was taken out in November 2024, going to pay it off gradually because I plan on taking a third one afterwards. All thanks to...Read More

PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST was a great guy to work with. He was knowledgeable, straightforward, and trustworthy. He also kept us updated and informed all the time and was very responsive whenever a question came up. Pinnacle Credit Specialist was easy to work with, very friendly and has a passion for taking care of his customers. What impressed me most of all though was how he went the extra mile for us when it came to making sure we get a good loan with low interest rate since it was so complicated and there were so many variables involved. He came up with a creative solution each time to overcome the different roadblocks that kept coming up, and we continue to appreciate all his efforts...Read More

PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST is an expert in repairing credit reports! My credit score was 516 and with a lot of debts on my credit report, He helped me increase my FICO score to 802 excellent plus and He helped me delete the negative items on my credit report within three weeks. He also helped me pay off my debts within a few weeks and I finally got approved for a mortgage loan with a less interest rate. Don’t fail to let them know I recommended their services to you.

Some years ago, after a job loss and medical bills piling up, I was missing multiple payments and in tons of debt. My credit cards got closed by their institutions and my credit score was well below 600. I became more financially stable now and I caught up doing the debt snowball. My last debt was a credit card with just under $30k and I couldn't go above 620 a couple of months. I became frustrated and took a hard pull and length of credit history out of the equation for just a moment. If all my previous cards were closed and I have $30k in credit debt, I read about PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST on QUORA on a question that says "Is Pinnacle Credit specialist the best credit repair company?" ...Read More

This is the highest score 741 has ever had in absolute ages. I buckled down and contacted PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST. They paid off most of my cards, closed everything except for my two oldest credit lines, and were able to remove three collections by paying two of them and asking for deletion immediately, and the last one finally fell off. They were able to achieve these excellent results within two weeks.

I was in the low 500s (about 537-541 depending on the bureau) and trying to figure out the best path forward. A few years ago my life completely changed. My dad was diagnosed with cancer, I went through a separation from my wife, had to sell my house, and became the primary caregiver for my children. During that time I fell behind on several accounts and my credit took a huge hit. Had so many negative items include collections, utility bills from a hardship period, and a vehicle repossession that involved my ex. I need to get my credit back on track because I now have stable employment, I’m working hard to get my finances back on track, and my long-term goal is to buy a home again someda...Read More

Hello! I'm about 30k in debt at 21. I know it sounds horrible but I have been really trying to get out of debt. i had about 12k in CC debt from when i left a DV situation and had to quit my job/move due to injuries and harmful situations. I have to move around a lot to protect my own safety from this situation. I also had 11k on a private student loan that costs me 300 a month. I have another 11k from a lease I could not break. I pay close to 1500 for my rent and 300 for my loan added onto my monthly minimums for my CC's. I know it probably sounds dramatic but I felt like my life was over. I was scared I might get sued from my previous leasing office even though I've explained my situatio...Read More
