Delivered totally wrong plant. A smaller and cheaper plant . Got run around . Would not give me refund on price difference . Their customer pledge is substitute at a greater value not lesser . Lame resolution . Never again .

Do not order flowers from Avas Flowers. They guaranteed a delivery for a birthday bouquet and did not deliver. when I called to check on it was told they could not get anyone to fill the order so it would be delivered the next day. Now that I am looking at reviews, I see I am not the only one that has had this issue. When there are special occasions it is important to be honest and truthful if you can provide the service or not. Andrea

I ordered flowers, a greeting card, bear and mylar balloon. They did not notify me they only delivered the flowers, I found when I asked how she liked the bear a few hours later. If I had not asked I would have never known it was not delivered, since they said my order was successfully delivered. When I notified them via their website it automatically said it refunded me, but that's not the point. They should have notified me they did not deliver it, instead of notifying me they did. I will not trust this service again due to this.

I order some flowers for delivery in and they were never delivered. I even paid for the "Rush" service which meant they should be delivered by 2pm. They were not delivered by 2pm and despite numerous calls to customer service nobody was able to give me an update. It was now 4:30pm and no flowers and the recipient was no longer at work so couldn't receive. I asked several different agents for a refund and was told that they couldn't when I ask to speak with a manager they put me on hold each time and no manager ever answered. I ordered an arrangement from Avas Flowers, four days early, for a funeral. I received a message the morning of the viewing that it had been delivered. My best friend let me know she and the funeral director had double checked and it was NEVER delivered. I called Avas back. They reordered my arrangement and guaranteed it would be delivered in time for the funeral the next day. It was not delivered either. After another call to Avas, I was told "the local shop confirmed the order was not delivered and had rejected it". I was never notified and if I had not checked up on the order, they would have kept my money without delivering my order. I would have assumed my order was delivered... Read More

Spending over $100 on flowers and balloons to get ripped off! This company should be banned from doing business! The flowers were grocery store quality and a few roses do not equal a "Luxury Grande" bouquet. No balloons were delivered at all. This company is a fraud!

My grandson was killed in a car accident (another driver crossed the center line and hit him and his girlfriend head on). After viewing their website, most of the funeral arrangements were "not available" in that area (??). I FINALLY found one and ordered it. Delivery arrangements were CONFIRMED and I paid in full. Delivery was to my daughter's home (they said they wouldn't deliver to a business or a funeral home (?!!) and THAT should have been a red flag for me, but I was under stress. On opening the first page of the app was a free delivery promo code. Charged me $9.95 for delivery. Gave all my personal information and on the last screen was a $25 service fee. Won't be using Ava's again. In hindsight I should have cancelled my order before my purchase. That's on me. I'll update after delivery.

Ripoff is an understatement!!!! $10 fee for same day delivery is bad enough, but an additional $29 for a "service fee" to cover same day delivery as well???!! Flowers that arrived were wilted and half dead. Embarrassing!!!!! NEVER, EVER use this company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My friend went into hospital in Florida. I live in Indonesia. I had to order quickly due to 12 hour time difference. I chose the arrangement that said "as shown" on their website thinking that would be safe. What arrived was half the size. On top of that, they charged an additional 55% service fee. This company clearly make their money by conning people via the service fee and then sending poor flowers assuming most people won't complain. They are operating a disgusting con!
