We sent a basket of fruit to a coworker going through a rough time due to her mother being hospitalized . She was very happy with the basket she recieved but I have to question the excessive service fee of $25 on top of all the other fees for ribbon, card, balloon, taxes and a delivery fee. So the basket is advertised for $79.99 jumps to $140.00 almost double the price on the web site after all the fees are assessed. When you go on the Ava's Flowers site to see what the fee covers its vague and doesn't really make sense. We ordered these flowers for a funeral wake. The should have delivered before 2pm which was the first viewing on a one day wake. We are very upset and the flowers finally arrived at 4pm

I ordered a center piece for our Christmas dinner ordered it 12-21-22 FLEX delivery 12-22/12-23, by 12-26-22 still not received it. I was told by the phone operators after 5 different calls it will be guaranteed delivery in time for dinner on 12/24, they just didn't say what year! When I called to cancel the order, they said my flex delivery was 12/24/-12/26 which was not true I had the original order delivery set for 12-22/12-23, they tried to tell me they would give me a box of chocolates if I didn't cancel IT IS THE WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH STAY AWAY PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I was told by the phone operators after 5 different calls it will be guaranteed delivery in time for dinner on 12/24, they just didn't say what year! BUYER BEWARE. Ordered a funeral spray for a friend. Never arrived for the funeral and guaranteed delivery by 11:00 pm came and went. Flowers arrived at 11:47. Was mortified when they brought it in and put it on the table. Nothing like the picture. Was happy it didn’t arrive for the funeral. It certainly wasn’t a spray. Not even a nice table arrangement. Called Avas when I left the funeral. They offered to send a Peace Lily but couldn’t get ahold of the florist. They then offered me $20, which I didn’t accept. Final offer was for 1/2 of the spray which was $89. Feeling it should have been more. Giving 1 star for the kind customer service rep.

The Worst ! Read all the Bad Reviews, Consumer Affairs, Complaints etc. Wish I had, before I spent $80 for Flowers that were a total embarrassment! !!! Not even close to what I ordered and the flowers were from Safeway or ?? Not Fresh and Looked like a child made the arrangement. Complete Rip Off. Ava's Flowers, in Bend OR, has bad customer service and is a Giant SCAM!!

on Oct. 20, I ordered a basket of flowering plants for my daughter's birthday to be delivered on October 27. Today, Nov 3, the arrangement has still not been delivered. Despite several hours on the phone since October 27, I still have no idea when the arrangement will be delivered. I would not use this company! Also, they are NOT a local florist in the San Diego area as represented online and to me on the phone. They do not even deserve a terrible rating of 1.

Worst experience! I ordered a $69.00 stuffed bear and balloon arrangement for my 4-year-old granddaughter who is fighting pneumonia. After all was said and done with the additional fees it came out to $110.00 which it is what it is. However, the stuffed bear smelled so strong of cigarette smoke that my daughter had to set it outside on the patio because it was smelling up her house. Obviously, my granddaughter cannot cuddle or hold the bear...which was the whole point! I finally got through to an actual human at customer service and they were no help at all, she said they would reach out to the florist to make them aware of the situation, and offered a $20 credit back to my card. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE BILLION, I WOULD! Even if they were a last resort, I still wouldn't use them! My bf sent me flowers from them today in GA, and I can't express how disappointed we are with their services! Never again will we use Avas Flowers, he spoke with sales rep at 9am this morning and was told it would arrive no later than 12. By 3pm he texted me asking if i received anything at my job, to which I replied no, so he reached out to the agency and was told they would be out to me soon. This is a fraud. The company took my money, confirmed my order, and then said they could not deliver what they confirmed for the funeral about 2 hours before. We called and confirmed a substitution, but it never got delivered. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I don't even think the calling service is in the US.
