Bottom Line

An interesting feature that’s included in Equifax ID Patrol is the ability to customize personal alerts. It also allows you to change this into higher percentages if you think that you are receiving too many alerts.

My letter to Equifax after being scammed: I just hung up with Louis trying to cancel my membership. This was by far the worst customer experience I’ve ever had in 40 years. I signed up for your 30-day trial which I now understand is a 7-day trial. I never used it as it was very complicated and not user-friendly at all. So I sent an e-mail to your customer service asking to please cancel on day 2. Of course I was called a liar and of course they never received it. I asked for a supervisor only to be told: “NO ONE WILL REFUND MY MONEY.” Sure enough Louis (The supervisor) first words were “we don’t give refunds for any reason.” First, it wasn’t a refund it was money you stole from... I have been with Equifax for 6 months now. For the most part they have been good. However, I recently ordered my Tri-Bureau report for $29.95. After getting that I started receiving emails immediately that there was a credit score decrease and I needed to check it. When I went in to check it, they billed me an additional $29.95. Only 4 days later. After an hour on the phone they were unwilling to refund my money. They basically told me that's just to bad. This was a deceptive way of taking additional monies from me. Be aware and watch them closely. The $29.95 was more important to them then doing what was right and returning my money.

Equifax Complete™ Premier Plan is a scam. They offer a month for free, but when you call to cancel, they claim their software is "down" and they can't process of cancel your request. Then the next time you call they will claim you were charged for two months because you didn't call in time. DO NOT enroll in the Equifax Complete™ Premier Plan. They will treat you like a cash machine, not a customer. Disappointed client anthony4036
