I had an excellent experience with Nationwide Moving Services and their crew moving an approximate 80 year old upright piano. They were on time, professional, friendly and took great care in wrapping, protecting and transporting this piano. Above all, they are honest in their dealings. I highly recommend them and plan on using them again in the future.
The company will say they are a moving company but they are a broker that will give you a low estimate. It’s all very appealing until your move is sold to an actual mover that you have no choice about. The company they sold our move to has ONE truck which is why it takes so long for the move. National Moving Services should at least sell the move to a reputable moving company. The reviews on the moving company are terrible and I am afraid that I won’t get all of my belongings and what I get will be damaged. Also if you have an issue with the moving company on the day of the move, you better hope it’s during business hours because no one is there to help after hours.
DO NOT EVER USE NATIONAL MOVING SERVICES. As a previous comment said, they charm you and lure you in to sign a contract and then everything changes. BRANDON WILSON is a snake. He was so sweet and said he would be with us every step of the way and then he would never call me back. National Moving Services promised us a particular truck size and then gave us a day and time for our move. The company they actually hired to move us (MEEG Moving) showed up 12 hours late with one guy and a small U-Haul. Said another truck was coming, but not until the next day (which was the day of our close, so we needed to be gone before then). They also showed up with no blankets or TV box, which was... Read More
Excellent local move experience today. Both the collection and the drop-off went really smoothly and quickly, and they performed a fantastic job. Also, huge credit to them for putting up with the insane 100+ degree temperatures! Over the years, I've used quite a few moving firms, but this is certainly my greatest and most satisfying experience.
I am a recent customer of National Moving and I want to warn you to absolutely not use this company. They are a broker service which means they use a completely different company to actually move your home, one that you have no control over. I can't tell you the number of times the story changed from these people. I was told that I would have a full 26' truck exclusively, as I requested. I was assured that this would be the case when I went through the final inventory. I paid additional money for the full truck. When they showed up the truck was loaded by about 1/3! There was no way my things were going to fit in the truck. When I called to complain I was given a different story... Read More
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If you decide to call them, be very careful! They will provide very low quote which will increase later for sure, and give you promises to accommodate any changes you have. They will promise whatever to lure you into contract if you just to call for a quote. The deposit is 50% of the total moving price. And BE VERY CAREFUL, you only have 72 HOURS to change your mind. If you do change your mind and change your moving plan, this deposit becomes theirs to keep. You won't be able to get any single penny back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They will scam you out of twice the money that is quoted to you. we were quoted $6800.00 and when they brought the truck to our new address we had to pay a total of $14,000.00 to get our stuff off the truck and they only brought a half full 26ft truck. They scamed us for over $8,000.00 of hard earned money. They lie to you and steel you blind. I went to a lawyer and was told it is a scam and would cost us thousands more and would probably loose. They have their asses covered in lots of fine print. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I was impressed by the level of care and attention to detail displayed by the movers from National Moving Services Inc. They treated my belongings as if they were their own, ensuring everything arrived safely.
We arranged a move for our kids whocc bc we’re moving from one state to another. They up charged us $1600 the day before the move (over & above) original contract amount. Then the movers told our kids on the day of the move that they needed to pay an additional $800 because the apartment they were moving out of was on the 2nd floor! This had been discussed with the coordinator!!! Then the car transporter never showed up to no move their car and left them hanging! I would recommend you call someone else.
