Residential, commercial, and military customers are welcomed, as well as those who need to transport a vehicle from state to state. Trinity asserts they verify every moving company's safety track record and insurance status to make sure they are only recommending the best companies. Therefore, consumers are advised to receive and review a binding contract with the final moving company (and especially to clarify the pricing method, which can be by cubic feet or weight) to avoid any surprises.

To be clear, Trinity is a moving broker, which means they typically broker their moves rather than providing physical moving services themselves. When brokering, they only act as the middleman between the company and the consumer. This means any details Trinity provides as to pricing and timing should be confirmed by the actual company that will be performing the service prior to moving day. Special attention should be paid to the way the moving company calculates the cost—some companies use weight while others go by cubic feet, which would require customers to measure every item to receive a more accurate quote.

I was nervous about my move for many reasons, but most importantly because I had a very negative experience a few years back when I moved from NJ to FL. This time through, I did my research prior to selecting a company and I am so glad that I did! Trinity was super easy to get an estimate from, and their customer service was always there to answer my calls night and day. The movers they hired were absolutely fantastic, and my stuff arrived on time and in perfect condition. They even sent me a housewarming gift! What a pleasant surprise..if you are still looking for a company I highly recommend!

TL;DR - I would give them ZERO star if I could. Do not use this company. Terrible all around. They significantly underestimated the cu. ft. on our couch (By $1000) even though we thoroughly provided the measurements (through recorded phone convos). Our dispute was opened for 2 months. They did not contact us, respond to emails or call back when they said they would. Today, Tracy from Cust. Service says there will be no compensation and that would be the last time she would talk to us, then she hanged up on us. If you are curious, below is the exact email sent to their manager, Jack Thompson, who never responded. Hello Mr. Jack Thompson, I am forwarding the entire chain of emails... Read More

You couldn’t pay me to use this company again. I do not understand how this company has any positive reviews. The quote that they provided was completely inaccurate (even though I was clear that I wanted it to be the worst case scenario because my company was paying for it). I asked multiple times “is there anyway that it will be more expensive than this quote?” The sales man said “only if we show up and you have a grand piano that you are not telling me about.” I also exaggerated the amount of packing needed and asked the salesman to add the $500 discount back on so I had some wiggle room and money to tip the movers. Pretty much, I gave them a huge wiggle room and it still cost... Read More

Trinity engages in deceptive business practices. Beware. My experience with Trinity Movers has been horrible. I was then called by a sales person from Trinity movers and told that they were having someone else who was moving to a location near to where I was moving and that they had a facility near to where I was moving so if I acted quickly they could give me a really good price on my move. They made it sound like I had if I did not book quickly that they would not be able to give me a good price. I was told that I was getting a very good deal and they were taking off over 60% of the moving costs because they had someone else moving to the same area. I was also told by the sales... Read More

Do NOT use this company for your moving needs. We were given a quote and a few days prior to our move, the price increased $1500, and when the movers arrived the price increased another $1500. Our moving costs went from $5400 to $8400. During our initial conversation with our salesperson (Bill Rosen) he said we were the most organized movers he had spoken with and offered us a discount if we had all of our boxes in the garage of our tri-level townhome. We personally moved ALL of our boxes into the garage and our movers only had to move large pieces of furniture out of the home. We were told our goods would arrive in 21 days, but 14 days was likely. Our move date was 6/29 and when the... Read More

This company does not stand behind the movers they connect customers with. My son had items damaged by the moving company and despite filing a claim, it has been a battle to get ANY compensation. Although Trinity does not do the actual moving, they also DO NOT provide any actual customer service. I would think twice about using these schisters ever again. Companies that are entrusted with people's personal belongings should stand behind their work. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

PROS: I found the customer service department to be excellent. I worked with Tracy and Lisa, who took the time to explain the steps of my move and the status of my delivery. They were extremely patient with me during a time when I was probably high maintenance. They were also very helpful on the day of my delivery when the moving crew tried to fine me an elevator fee, which is covered for you through Trinity's policy. The movers that were used through Trinity as a broker were very professional, courteous, and efficient. When my delivery was all said and done, there were no missing boxes/ furniture. I had a lot of glassware (that I had packed with bubble wrap) and expected that there would... Read More

First of all, understand that Trinity Moving and Storage is a broker and not the mover. They contract a moving company and become a middleman to charge you more. They will misguide you and play tricks to get your business. Regardless of what Trinity says don’t believe them. They do not personally come and give estimate but estimate by phone only. They give estimate only, not the actual price. The real moving company will change the price at the last minute and you will be stuck and compelled to pay much more than the Trinity quote. This is how they cheat. If you select Trinity then never pay more than 10% deposit. Agree to pay less deposit and little more installment at pick up and final... Read More

Worst decision ever! Two boxes lost. Every Single item was scratched. We watched them end over end our couch to the front door! Never the same! They were never on time. They unloaded the truck at 11 at night; probably why some boxes were lost. Even my outdoor furniture was scripted. On top of that they were very rude.

I really wished I read these reviews before I booked this moving company. For starters, my first quoted price (for a fully furnished 1bdrm) was $1700. Less than a week prior to my move when they asked me how many boxes and miscellaneous items I had, itwent up to $2600. Didn’t understand why so much, but I sucked it up. Now when the 3rd party movers arrived (2 hours late) they added $1000 more on my price! This was after I decided to throw out my loveseat (that they asked to keep) and still charged me an outrageous price! Trinity Movers staff representative told me (before rudely hanging up in my face) that my items will arrive within 7-10 days. I’m on day 12 now still with no delivery... Read More
