Trinity Relocation Group is a moving brokerage company that connects consumers with companies across the country that provide interstate moving services. Residential, commercial, and military customers are welcomed, as well as those who need to transport a vehicle from state to state. Trinity asserts they verify every moving company's safety track record and insurance status to make sure they are only recommending the best companies. Therefore, consumers are advised to receive and review a binding contract with the final moving company (and especially to clarify the pricing method, which can be by cubic feet or weight) to avoid any surprises.

Services Offered - 5 / 5

Trinity Relocation Group is a moving brokerage company licensed by the Department of Transportation that primarily matches consumers with moving companies across the country that provide residential, commercial, military, and auto transport moving services as well as storage and packing. To start the process, consumers can request a free quote online or by calling Trinity over the phone. Trinity's website says they screen and vet moving companies before connecting them with consumers by making sure they have a valid DOT and FMCSA licenses and verifying their safety record and insurance. Trinity also makes sure every moving company gives their customers a binding contract so all terms (including pricing) are locked in. One caveat is that only interstate (state-to-state) moving services are brokered through Trinity. Local and international moving is not offered.

To be clear, Trinity is a moving broker, which means they typically broker their moves rather than providing physical moving services themselves. When brokering, they only act as the middleman between the company and the consumer. This means any details Trinity provides as to pricing and timing should be confirmed by the actual company that will be performing the service prior to moving day. Special attention should be paid to the way the moving company calculates the cost—some companies use weight while others go by cubic feet, which would require customers to measure every item to receive a more accurate quote.

This company is a SCAM!!! Don’t go with them. They talked me out of going with a different moving company saying that they were a scam and that they had bad reviews when in fact, Trinity is the company with the bad reviews. Check their Yelp reviews also! As the other reviews state, all these accusations are true (from my own experience as well): 1. Once the sales rep gets you to sign the contract, you can’t reach them anymore. 2. The quote they give you, written in the contract, is only and estimate (which they don’t tell you prior ). The final quote we agreed on (and I emphasized not having any additional charges as long as I only loaded all the items on the contracted inventory... Read More

Oh my gosh...I am simply shocked by the horrible treatment I received from Bill on the phone a few minutes ago. FYI, writing this on 11/27/21 at 12:30 MST. I first went on the website and made an inquiry for someone to call me back. I immediately got a pop-up that told me to call NOW and get 10% off the entire move. I called right then to inquire about the cost to move a studio apartment from Colorado to Seattle. I was told it would be a minimum of $3,000. OK, that sounded about right to me based on my 4 cross country moves in the past. I then asked Bill about the 10% discount that was offered on the website and he gruffly told me, "If you can't afford to move then you should look... Read More

The saddest part of this painful experience with Trinity Relocation Group is their claim to be a Christian company, and I fell for their lie. The wolves in sheep's clothing are alive and well at Trinity and they have rehearsed their parts exceedingly well. Like so many others who have left reviews in 2021, I too, was flushed down the toilet after they doubled the price only a few days before the move when I could not back out. There are so many things wrong with this company that I don't know where to begin. I had 3 weeks to make an unexpected move from CA to GA. I called other companies that could not move me in that time frame due to the shortage of drivers and the short time... Read More

I'm not certain how this company received such a high rating. We will never use this company again. Pleasant on the front end until they receive your down payment, then poor customer service...no updates, no advocacy, no schedule! As a "broker," I'm not certain what they are paid for...other than to find some other unprofessional companies to move families homes with little to no care. I suppose since they don't get much repeat business, they can treat each family move as transactional, make as much money as they can by providing little to no service, and then move on to the next family in need. Horrible experience!

SCAM! Bottom line-they give you a low binding estimate, increase upon arrival and say pay it or we keep your deposit! We contacted to assist in our move from CT to FL. Trinity rep Brian Hannan, had me give him my list over the phone and did not enter items appropriately. He told me that other companies transport and charge by weight, but that they determine the price based on cubic feet, so the price will never change from the binding estimate, "unless we add a grand piano," his famous quote I have since found out that it is unethical to transport across state lines and not use weight slips. In my naivety, I believed this seemed like an honest man and an honest practice because I could... Read More

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. Shane, the salesperson I dealt with, will tell you ANYTHING to get the deposit. He said so many things that turned out not to be true at all! He said my estimate included full coverage. Then, after I had already paid the deposit, Bruce, the cost estimator and "Quality Assurance" person, said in order to add the insurance the move would have to be delayed, after I had everything all set up of course! Then, they put the stuff in the truck, and the estimate they gave me TRIPLED - even after going through a detailed list more than 3 times with their "Senior Cost Estimator" Bruce prior to the move!. They asked me to sign all these papers under extreme... Read More

Thieves and charlatans. They do a great job selling the service, but make no effort to verify the qualifications of the moving companies they book or communicate with them regarding the services they have sold. My mover showed up an hour and half late and didn't know they were supposed to pack the items they were moving--most of which were fragile antiques. When I complained to broker they assured me they would contact the mover and work things out...Instead they cut off all communication with me, and ignored my follow-up calls trying to cancel service. I should have backed out right then and just written off my deposit. Instead I decided to go forward with the move. Aproximately... Read More

I signed up with Trinity group (job number ***) to move, and made a deposit of $2,157 to secure my spot. Nobody showed up on moving day, and no body answered my multiple calls through out the day. I informed trinity that I would like to cancel the service and get my deposit back - as no service was provided to me, Trinity refused to refund my money back.

This is a terrible company to use. Poor customer service and not sticking to the "Binding Estimate" price quoted.
