NOT A MOVING COMPANY. They are a moving broker. Trinity subcontracts the move to other moving companies so you have no control over the mover selected. I found Trinity through the consumer advocates site. It was rated highly and offered a discount for early booking. Further, retrospective review of the site reveals compensation from the company to the website affects how the company is positioned. After speaking with the representative, I set up my pick up and delivery dates. I had a very narrow window for delivery (2 weeks after pick-up), so this was a specific question to the representative. Everything went as planned and guys loading our household move were excellent. Very professional.
DO NOT TRUST THIS RELOCATION BROKER. Trinity Relocation Group is a nightmare of a company to deal with. Our experience was bait and switch, then essentially hostage taking of our possessions. I don't know how their staff reconciles their ethical conflicts on a daily basis. Our quote from Trinity (and they "always over estimate") was $8,207. We prepaid $7,590 TOTAL So at this point we thought our outstanding balance would be $617: $8,207 (original Trinity quote) $7,590 (amount we already paid) $ 617 (max amount we thought was due when *** showed up) When *** Moving arrived this is what the driver texted to us: $8,712 CF 2,200 $400 Modelo?: (illegible line item)... Moving is never easy, especially long distance! However, the people at Trinity help make it easier! Everyone I dealt with from Trinity was great, especially Caleb! I highly recommend this group to hep facilitate your move, big or small.
I implore you to read and seriously digest the complaints shared on this site before you make a huge mistake and contract with Trinity Relocation Group. I would share my own story of deception and regret with this company, but everything has already been said. If you were taken advantage of by Trinity Relocation Group, like I was, I encourage you to practice your rights as a consumer and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, and Federal Motor Carrie Safety Administration (FMCSA). Trinity's homepage says "affordable and reliable moving services" and "best long distance moving company", yet they hooked me up with the worst company - Jet Moving and Storage. Trinity assured me that Jet is legit and they had worked with them for years. However, Jet took more than two months to deliver our belongings (vs 14-21 days that Trinity sold me on), and several major items were no longer usable when delivered or not delivered at all, including two TVs, a dining table, a bunkbed, and a mattress, all of which we paid extra bulky item, packing, and special handling fees for. Your sales rep, Dylan Boyle inadvertently or purposefully failed to mention that our move was going to be a "split load" until after I paid the deposit of $4509.68. When I confronted him on this, he spoke over me and said that he explained this to me and that I must have missed that? After you received my deposit and the conversation I had with Dylan Boyle concerning split load, I knew that I had made a grave mistake choosing Trinity Relocation. By far the WORSE moving company out there. I have moved many times (even from overseas) and never EVER wrote a bad review- This company deserves my first BEYOND BAD review. Unprofessional (especially their customer servicer manager lady who is a Pit-Bull and a 1/2 [my apologizes to Pit-Bulls of the world]), unreliable, and unethical. They sell your contract to the lowest bidder, take their share $$$$- and drop you to fend for yourself. Once they are paid which is immediately, YOU ARE STUCK and they don't care because they already got paid!!!!! I heard that they close the business and re-open under a different name every few years because of complaints and law suits- My advise- RUN AWAY -
My husband and I recently moved from the ATL area to Connecticut. We searched for weeks for find a good company. We thought Trinity was that company; however, we were sorely mistaken. When I contacted them for the first time, the contact person was very friendly and gave me, what I saw as a fair estimate (this all changed). During out conversation, I specifically asked how long delivery would take because we would be able to move into our new home on Aug. 2. I was told that they would deliver within 3 days of my first available delivery date (FADD). We specifically chose Trinity for this reason. Trinity Relocation Group is absolutely the worst moving broker ever. I admit I should have looked at reviews, but I took a friends recommendation and signed on the dotted line, so to speak. My first interaction was pleasant and I was told he was my contact person and to call anytime with questions or concerns. Not true. I was also told I could update my furniture list anytime. Not True! My move was set for May 16-17( in Pennsylvania) with a delivery date of June 8( in Florida). I signed a contract on April 12 and listed items for move.
