We had a technician come out and diagnose our washing machine. He had to order part and schedule a later date to repair. After he left, washing machine began to work normally. Meanwhile, we were charged for part and future labor. It has been a hassle to get correct part return address and money back for pre-charged labor.
Sears charges 309.00 an hour to instal a stove igniter that cost only 40.00 took them 30 minutes to instal so basicly THIERE hourly labor charge about 600.00 per hour stay away from Sears’s they only care about screwing you over
this is the worst repair I have ever worked. the repair guy had the wrong phone number, he gave me th e part name and number from Sears supplier. the part was 80 bucks, for a tiny piece of plastic. they takr pay pal only and will not cancell. two weeks we have been waiting for the damn part, they do not have it but won't cancel and into the bargain the same exact part is 18 dollars fron Amazon or 21 from the Samsung brand's parts supplier. so 4 days to wait for repair guy 2 weeks and counting on the part out 200 dollars and still have a non working dishwasher.
GE dryer "repair" 5/24. Tech misdiagnosed seized drum bearings as simply broken belt, then after I paid repair charge the belt never came & appointments were rescheduled repeatedly for a month. Finally got competent (non-Sears) repairperson to make correct diagnosis & cancelled further Sears appts. Have been totally unable to get the "repair charge" refunded - no response to multiple emails over 3 mo. Would rate as zero stars and a fraudulent business!!
Technician took 3 phone calls just chatting. I even asked him to call them back later. He continued talking. My mother was in another room with 3 dogs. Locked them up for the Technicians Safety. Also, He basically said I was the cause of my problem. I have a Home Warranty and they picked Sears to service me. His Report to my Home Warranty was negligence. My claim was denied based off his opinion. I finally asked him to leave and take his phone calls somewhere else. Sears has great products but their Customer Service is terrible. They break appointments at their discretion or just don't show up
Botched repair job on a refrigerator compressor replacement repair. Wrong sized compressor was modified and installed that left me with a very noisy --less than 3 year old refrigerator,
Stay away from these fraudulent people. They do not show up. All they do is reschedule you. I waited for 6 days, and everyday they changed the appointment. Their excuse is the technician is changing it.. I was told, we understand you will be assigned another technician, and we promise he will be there tomorrow between 8 and 5. Still no one showed up. My warranty company changed this repair to another contractor.
This company sucks!!
i called to get a repair on my refrigerator , they were 2 weeks out. told them I would check elsewhere, she went ahead and made an appt for me anyway. Took me 3 days and holding on the line for over an hour just to cancel!!

OMG these crooks, I had a service guy out March 23 2024 to check my Kenmore Elite Fridge which cost $120. The fridge needs a LG compressor replaced per service. We decided to repair the cost was $609.87. I paid the technician on the spot they were shipping parts. The follow up appt was scheduled for April 1st 2024 between 8-5pm well I had a text at 6.30am saying repair appt was confirmed and guess who never showed. Waited til 6.30pm called 3 times during day to get an estimated time for tech arrival - nothing. They said the computer systems had been down since Friday, haha - their text message for appt confirmation was a dead end '500 / please try again in awhile', all week now same... Read More
