These people can't possibly have a 5 star rating. They are not really Sears even though they represent that they are. Evidently Sears sold the right to use their name. I agreed to $169 service call to repair my freezer. Tech came out and said the evaporator fan motor was frozen and it would cost $515 to repair. After paying him, i was given a receipt that showed a cost of $78 for the fan motor and $430.04 labor cost. Tech was on site for less than 1 hour and spent less than 1/2 hour replacing the fan.

3.5 weeks to get a technician to come out. Tech ordered part and made appointment for 3 weeks later. No part by then. Numerous phone and chat sessions with the south Asian "support" staff . Absolutely no help. Poor grasp of English. 2 more weeks: part arrived. Installation scheduled for 4 weeks out. Assuming this actually happens, it 8 weeks from start to finish. I'm giving them 1 star because the rating scale doesn't allow negative ratings. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever use Sears for anything again.

Worst experience in my 63 yrs of existence! I called Sears because I grew up with the company. Obviously the appliance repair bought name rights because there is no Honesty , Dependability, or Customer Service! ...They came out, ordered part, made me pay half, said we'll be in touch. After waiting over a month and a half for even a return phone call , I did the repair myself. They wanted $467.00 for a $13.00 part repair that took me 20 minutes. I'm a 63year old disabled female!...you tell me what they were trying to pull on me wasn't a scam. BBB thinks so! Of course I'm still waiting on my initial $232.00 refund. If I could No Star review

I would leave a negative if I could. My 20 month old, $2000+ refrigerator/freezer quietly stopped working. The freezer food wasn't ruined, but the refrigerator food was. I called Sears. They could not get an appointment for me for two weeks, between noon and four. At a few minutes before four I got a call from a tech, Matthew, who said he had a work order for a Frigidaire, not a Kenmore, and I would have to call Sears to set up another appointment. "I" didn't put in the work order, but I did spend an entire day waiting for him, and I still didn't have refrigeration. He started yelling at me, finally I hung up on him. I called Sears to reschedule, and they made an appointment for the next... Read More

I don't know how they can have a 5 star review. I give them minus 1. I have been a customer of Sears for at least 20 plus years and I will be cutting up my Sears Card with great satisfaction for the aggravation they have put me through. Their Sears Home Services sent an under-qualified technician that damaged a major appliance I very nicely asked them to send someone with experience to make a few repairs on it, and specifically said do not send back the same person, in chats and over the telephone. Two days later the same person that damaged the appliance to begin with shows up, and of course did nothing to fix it, and didn't even order parts. After that, I tried to order the... Read More

I purchased a refridgerator from Sears on 1/11/20, and an extened warranity for over $200.00. I have been waiting on parts for over a week and have recieved no assistance from Sears .My family has been without a refrigerater for over a week now. This is so unacceptable!!! I have contacted the BBB, I have been on the phone with Sears for over 4 hours and still nothing. Stay away from Sears' leftovers, they are not reliable.

I tried making an appointment on 7/ 3 /20 for my washer. I wanted the appointment to be the week after the 4th of July. The customer service rep could not find my agreement and kept telling me I had 2 washing machines and I had no coverage. I had the agreement in my hands and have one washer and one dryer. Of course, supposedly a manager was coming to the phone....hold....hold....so I finally hung up. I will call again in a day or two and get someone out here one way or another. They ask question after question to try to avoid having someone come out. I wonder if the technicians are aware of that? After this agreement runs out I am steering clear of Sears. Their customer service... Read More

This is the first time I have requested Sears Appliance Repair Service. It is the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had, they charged me more than the diagnostic fee, for nothing, they just turned on the labadora and told me it was fine ($ 148.73) just by pressing the power button, the technician Alexander R. He yelled at me and spoke to me with very insulting words because I complained about why he was charging me so much and when I called Sears to complain, they said I'm sorry, but there is nothing we can do. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT They are thieves and bad manners.

After 3 visits and $350 in cost my dishwasher still leaks. I was told at 2nd visit that it needed some parts and due to poor diagnostics from first visit, at least the parts would be free. When the 3rd service tech came to replace parts I was told I have to pay for the parts and the labor. That the tech who told me it would be free was wrong and was going to get a "talking to" the following Monday. I tried calling Customer Service but got disconnected every time. Do not know if fault of line or was hung op on. I am going to purchase a new DW. Think I have spent enough on the one I have. I have always used Sears Appliance Repair for 20 years and I am telling you now I will never use... Read More

Ordered 4500$ worth of Kenmore elite oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. The oven and dishwasher took 2 months to get here. The dishwasher broke within a year. It had a factory warranty that I spent literally HOURS on the phone getting passed from person to person only to eventually be hung up on. This is the worst service I've ever been involved with. The repair man they sent out told me to call back and get a replacement dishwasher and sears acted like they had never heard of this. One of the phone guys accidently read me the repair man's notes asking for a replacement, and then just hung up on me. Unbelievable.
