Charles M. (Sears Technician) came to my home on 06/11/2021 to service my washing machine. Charles informed me it is my dispenser, it can be ordered and I should receive it in 3 days. I paid Charles $214.38 of the charges of $403.38. Charles stated that he sent my receipt of the deposit via email. I never received a receipt and called Sears customer service, I spoke with 2 representatives and 1 supervisor for over 3 hours with no resolution. I have not received the part, no updates, and no receipt. I just called again and was told the system is down and they are unable to look up my order. Unbelievable! My washer went out on May 22, Sears Home Services could not respond until May 27. On the appointed day they came out declared it broken and ordered parts saying that it would take two techs to fix it and couldn't make it back out until June 9. Parts started arriving at our house, but no one said how many packages would arrive or what should be in them. I texted them about the parts, but received no reply. On June 9, one tech (instead of the two needed to fix it) comes out and says we didn't get all the parts we needed. He called back later saying the original tech has the needed part, but it's his day off, so they are rescheduling again for June 16. I am not happy.

Appalling lack of customer service. Our freezer/fridge repair appt was scheduled for May 24 between 1-5 pm. At 5 no one had shown up or communicated with us. We checked online chat and were told he was running late and would be here between 5:30-6:30. At 7 pm, still nothing so we get online and see our appt is now scheduled for June 2! The next morning, after a great deal of effort on our part, we spoke with someone claiming to be a supervisor. We were told our appt had been cancelled (not by us) and rescheduled for June 2. They simply made no attempt to try to work with us and get someone out here for a repair. Completely unacceptable and they don’t seem to care at all.

The absolute WORST service I have ever received. We scheduled an oven repair 2 weeks out, day of THEY cancelled on us, because that person was out sick, then we had to adjust our schedule wait another 2 weeks, then THEY cancelled on us AGAIN (day of, after adjusting our schedules to accommodate), then still without a working oven they told us because of these cancellations we had to wait another 3 weeks and couldn't get us in earlier. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, NOT RELAIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE, WILL WASTE YOUR TIME. This company deserves negative reviews, 1 star is truly generous.

I have had my Kenmore washer for 3 years and have a 3 year warranty on it. My warranty states that if a repair is made 3 times in one year they will replace the washer. Well heads up. I have had the repair team out to service this machine in the last 3 years no less than 12 times. Mike said they couldn't see any repair slips on my machine for 2019 and yet I have scheduled appts. that were made. Now he says my machine doesn't qualify under the lemon law or any warranty of theirs. So Everyone. This is how they make their money with these warranty's. Nightmare experience. Couple year old $2300 refrigerator died. Compressor failed (known problem with the LG manufacturer who makes this for Kenmore.) Parts covered under warranty, but not the labor which is almost $1000. They gouge you on the labor to pay for the parts, assuming they ever arrive. Two weeks now, and no parts, without an update on status on their website. I can see the parts as "in Stock" and can have them in two days if I buy them directly from Sears. Called customer service numerous times and get nothing but canned answers, with multiple promises to escalate, but nothing ever happens. I've owned Kenmore appliances my entire life. DO NOT USE SEARS APPLIANCE REPAIR INCLUDING A MONTHLY SERVICE AGREEMENT. I just waited OVER SIX WEEKS FOR SERVICE. I set my appointment to have my refrigerator fixed over a month ago. The repairman was competent, yet did not have either a replacement thermostat, or the casing that holds the water filter on his truck. Has to come back on MAY 4. Sears should be ashamed. Back story: The repairman admitted he was the only technician for my area. ONLY ONE. Also Sears is trying to sell this division and it shows. DO NOT BUY A MAINTENACE AGREEMENT. I paid $260 to another co. to have my thermostat replaced. Rip off!

Buyer Beware! I purchased Elite Appliances from Sears in January of 2020. Multiple attempts to remediate issues with the Refrigerator, which begin to surface in July of 2020 has failed. Appointments that were scheduled under warranty were cancelled without my knowledge, were cancelled because Sears claimed they called the wrong number, and cancelled because of a dispute between the technician and Sears as to how the technician would be paid. I purchased 'So Called' elite appliances and they failed in a matter of months. This company does not honor its warranty so would highly discourage anyone from purchasing from this company.

I agree with Richard from 1/29/21. Sears is now shady. Do not trust the name. I purchased an extended appliance warranty with my purchase 4 1/2 years ago. The same technician has been to my house five times in the last 3 months. I was told by the third party provided that they did not have anyone else. Sears customer service told me that they were sorry and send out a qualified technician. It was the same person. He kept closing the repair ticket without fixing the product. I had no recourse but this warning to others. Avoid the Sears Brand.
