CHECKR: Has to be the most incompetent background checking company. I will be trying to put this company out of business. Because they must be so stupid that even if you send them updated verifiable proof they still will report the same information after there investigation. No 1 will get a job if this sorry ass company is doing your background.
They seem like the screw you out of work every since they been running my background get turned down job after job three words PRE ADVERSE ACTION. I've applied for 9 jobs and got none. My background ranges from 5 to 15 years old but that doesn't matter when Checkr involved
Don't plan on getting a job soon if your prospective employer uses this service. They are slower than congress.
The worse experience, I have a TWIC card which requires a Homeland Security in depth background check including fingerprints and it took less than three weeks. I am going on four weeks waiting for checkr to complete me to drive for Uber. No support via phone for pending checks and through email support it is the same infor every background check is different. Fortunately I had other options and feel sorry for people that have no options. They are not customer friendly as long as the checks keep cashing from Uber and Lyft. This company is destroying peoples job reputations. I have worked for LYFT and UBER over a year without any problems. Both companies pulled a background check from CHECKR and both companies ok'd me to drive. Last week my LYFT app would not activate and sent me a message that it was because information on my background from CHECKR was the reason. I contacted and filed a dispute with CHECKR, because they had a charge on my background that was DISMISSED and it still showed as CONSIDER on their background. This company does NOT follow regulations set by other states. They seem to believe they are above the law. If your state has time limit regulations, beware this company does not follow them. I give them a zero rating. The use lame excuses for their blatant disregard of the state laws and regulations. I have been a victim of there actions. They had to go back 23 years to find a misdemeanor to report,............. really

This company is ridiculous. They gave me a "consider" status because they couldn't verify an employment date that was a month off. That is not an issue but turns out everybody with a problem with their background check gets the same status. So the murderer guy, sex offender guy, and guy with a small discrepancy in an employment period are in the same boat. I have never had a problem with background checks until a prospective employer used Checkr. I wonder how many candidates' lives this company has ruined.
I feel Checkr is not looking for accurate information when doing background checks, I tried to correct what they sended to company I work for and they destroyed any job opportunities I may have had because they wouldn't correct the background checks to the correct information.
I just got an email from this company asking me for personal information. Yea, like I'm going to give personal information to a web site I know nothing about.
It's seems to be a scam so beware.
