Worst dental insurance company! I had one oral surgery claim that i followed up for over a year and no history of claim on their side. I sent eclaim and mailed out every 2 weeks for a year and nothing!!!! I gave up! I dont want to deal with this insurance no more.

I have never been treated so poorly and been incessantly bounced between my dentist's office and Cigna. All I have done is wait... wait... and still wait for an honest response. I even changed dentists to have better in network coverage, and still get truly poor service without receiving accurate responses. Shame on this company. I can't even say they dropped the ball, because they just don't give a damn. So, if you want to feel that you're getting nothing but the round-a-round for your money, then Cigna is your answer.

I had a horrible experience with Cigna Dental Insuranc. They were the worst company I have ever dealt with by far. I have worked with many different companies and never had this much frustration and unsatisfaction. Their agent making false statements when they sell you the plan and after paying months of premiums and waiting, they don't pay what the dentist offices are billing them. Every time you call to talk to about a case or claim. they conveniently have no records of previous conversations although you have case number and confirmation. They are unreliable and unaccountable when it comes to pay for the services.

This company is a total SCAM! They will not cover anything! They even won't cover teeth cleaning in full even if they state they cover teeth cleaning twice a year. Had it done once and they covered only half of it! They also cover only silver fillings which nobody is using like last 50 years. So they won't cover fillings. I wonder if they cover wooden crowns only....They will find a reason to not pay. Also, their incompetent agents will never tell all those details over the phone. I called them before getting dental work done. Such a SCAM! Waste of money!

In 2023 my wife and I had Cigna Dental insurance. Absolutely horrendous company to do business with. They constantly look to deny and if that doesn’t fly they will absolutely nickel and dime. The dentist (Cigna preferred ) has actually withdrawn from accepting any Cigna dental insurance in 2024. Worst of the worst and frequently give incomplete and/or inaccurate information Best advise I can give - pick another company- they are truly awful

do not use, if you want to cancel because your dentist does not use this plan they do not refund. You pay for months that you want to cancel.

The worst customer service I've seen in years. They just keep denied the claims and don't provide any clear communication. Each rep has a different explanation and new requirement pops up every time. There is Federal Investigation about Cigna Health declining the claims without even looking. It's time to investigate the dental businesses as well.

21 days waiting for reimbursement and nothing. Date mailed out July 11th, 2023 --- toady is July 31st, 2023 Your customer service dept. knows nothing on how to find my claim. They keep telling me that it may take up to 2 months for reimbursement. You better start educating your customer service dept. how not to lie. After 9 calls to your Cigna Dental Claims, NOTHING IS FOUND

Cigna dental has been the WORSE experience that I have had. I signed up in December, the next bill wasn't due until February, I created an online account, but for some reason there is no where to pay it online. It took me forever to get assistance, and when I did they said that they would send me an invoice so that I could mail in but instead of an invoice they sent me a bill that said I was late and services terminated. I tried to call and put my information in the phone but I couldn't be located so I spoke to a rep and they pulled me up and I asked why couldn't the automative system pull me up they said because I have been cancelled and then told me to reinstate I would have to pay... This is THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They are all off shore and refuse to put you through to a supervisor. They left me on hold for over 2 hours, I disconnected and called back and had the same rep, Jay, on the line. He then refused again to help me with having a prior auth completed for a service in 2 days. The guy blatantly lied several times. He then disconnected the line after again placing me on hold for 45 min. All of this is after I called last week and had the services expedited. They had the clinical information for 3 weeks and did nothing with it. I cant wait to get rid of this insurance and back to Delta. Id rather pay for a health plan then get this through my employer.... Read More
