Worst company EVER. I would never recommend them to anyone. Placed an order online for same day delivery which the website clearly states at the top. Was charged a service fee plus delivery fee. An hour later I receive an urgent text requesting me to call. I call and was told the order could not be delivered until the next day. They were flowers for someone birthday so of course I don't want it the next day. I call back to cancel was put on hold for 30 minutes and no-one ever came back to the phone. HORRIBLE!!! Ordered an arrangement displayed on their website Thursday for delivery Friday. I was than hit with a $19.99 service charge on top of delivery! Received numerous texts and emails that my arrangement was not available and they would send something as a replacement! Their options were a bunch of sunflowers or roses! NOT WHAT I WANTED. I wanted a nice vase of assorted flowers. They would also not be able to deliver until the following Tuesday! Called them 9am that Friday to cancel and get a refund. Horrible experience overall. They say they are a local florist, but once you dig into it, can tell they are not at all! They sent the wrong flowers to the wrong place and still have not rectified the situation - we were trying to send flowers to our grandmother for Mother's Day and she never got anything. After multiple emails and phone calls, I'm still literally on HOLD - nothing seems to be getting resolved, they always say they will look into it and get back to me. Finally offered me a $20 credit - but seriously, our grandma did NOT get the flowers we ordered for her - there should be a refund AND a delivery if you want to make this right. This was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a floral company. I ordered first thing Last Thursday, May 6th at 8:00am for a delivery that day. Got a confirmation and everything. I get an email at 4:30pm telling me that it couldn't be delivered because they didn't have all the flowers for the arrangement. I contacted support and spoke with them on the phone for 30 min (20 of that waiting to speak to a manager). I was ASSURED that they would be delivered first thing Friday Priority. I call at 3:30pm and they say they will still be delivered that day but its busy because of mothers day. DO NOT ORDER FROM AVAS FLOWERS! Here is why: 1) they are a 3rd party reseller, not local as they make it seem on their website 2) if you need to get a hold of them, they do everything possible with their phone tree to not take your call. You need to go through about 20 prompts to speak with someone 3) when you have an issue, they are not able to contact the florist directly 4) they will say that they are working to resolve your issue but never call you back, it happened to me three times in a 24 hour period 5) they are unable to actually resolve any issues because they are completely hands off 6) they charge a $25 service fee at checkout that is never mentioned on the site prior to... I ordered a beautiful bouquet (based on the on line picture) for mothers day for $62 plus a $20+ service charge and tax. Was almost immediately notified that that bouquet was not available and would I like to upgrade to some $79 tulips or roses at no extra charge...so I chose the tulips. We received via UPS a sad looking bunch of 10 droopy tulips that were dry. I contacted them and was offered a $20 refund, which was then downgraded to $15, then told she could not do and transferred me to another department which I had to go through the whole story all over again....I finally gave up and hung up. HORRIBLE!!! I ordered premium flowers, the largest size I could order, and they sent 10 stems - NO VASE! I could have bought better flowers at the corner gas station. These were for Mother’s Day to my mother in Lakeland, Florida. I was so embarrassed when she sent me a picture. My mother deserved MUCH better than this. I spent over an hour on the phone to have them make it right and send someone out to my mother’s to deliver what she should have received. They did NOTHING!!!

By far the WORST FLOWER COMPANY. I put in a order for Mother's day for delivery today and they emailed me this past Wednesday confirming delivery is on scheduled for today and they emailed me a refund this afternoon stating unforeseen circumstances they weren't able to deliver. Unacceptable and would NOT RECOMMEND AVAS FLOWERS TO ANYONE STAY AWAY! Horrible!

I would give less than one star if I could. The quality of flowers received is less than what I would get at a gas station. Customer service is atrocious. After being on the phone for over an hour, I was told they will do nothing to remedy the situation because they are "a small business." They would not even issue a refund. A quick Google search will reveal that they are NOT a small business. Do not purchase from here unless you want to be out $80 on flowers you could have bought for $2 at the gas station.
