I would never do business with Avas again. They made it so hard to place an order. very misleading pricing when the order arrived some of the flowers were wilted-- it took me 5 calls and 3 hours to get a 30 dollar discount on a $159.00 order. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the full charge. i was on hold for over 1 hour 2 times never again dont use this company

I ordered flowers to be delivered on Jan 10, 2021 . I was told several time my order would be deliver the same day by representative. I was notified 2 hours later that this product would not be delivered until 1 day later. I told the CS rep that this was unacceptable and that I would like to cancel the order. After being transferred several times one representative offered a 20 percent discount. I told him I wanted a full refund . After being on hold for almost 30 mins I was told I would be refunded for the full amount. I am upset that these people lie and assure you of delivery just to get your money and that I have to go through so much for a simple cancellation. I am now waiting... Read More

Ordered a sympathy basket to be sent to a grieving family, on New Years Day. The basket has never been delivered. After making numerous calls, and being placed on hold for up to a half hour the person would get back to me with the same answer "the order is being processed". I have since asked for a refund and have not received a response. Never again.

I ordered flowers that were suppose to have been delivered for a birthday December 28. After I placed the order I was told it couldn’t be delivered until December 29 and that the order couldn’t be cancelled. It’s now January 3 and the order has yet to be delivered despite several phone calls. I would never order from this place again.

Totally disappointed. If I could give negative stars I would do so. I paid around $175 for a very basic bouquet of flowers for a funeral. The cost would’ve been maybe $50 at most at any reputable florist. My daughter sent flowers which they told her they couldn’t deliver. I contacted the florist on her behalf because I did not want her to be away at what they had sent with her name on it to a funeral. This was a tiny little plant with three small flowers and a cheap little basket of some kind. The entire thing wasn’t 9 inches tall. They charged her $110. BEWARE!!! If youre looking for the old bait and switch then order from this company. This was the only company that said it could get an arrangement delivered by the date I needed , plus they were having a "SALE"!! BONUS!! So I used them. Should have done my research is all I'm saying. While the arrangement got there in time, it was half the size it should have been, super sparse and just thrown together. Not at all worth the $70.00 spent! When I went on the site to report the issue my original order of a large bouquet was now showing as a small bouquet. 12/30/2020-HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE; DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE I ordered sympathy flowers on Monday, they were supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. It is now Wed, and the flowers have not been delivered. My $100+ order was not delivered on the expected delivery date. I sent requests to "track my order" and "where's my order" on their site and no one responded in 6 hours to my request. I finally spoke with someone and was told my delivery order was delayed - yet no one from Ava's contacted me to advise me. It's ridiculous that no one contacted me to advise of the delay. I am glad I could give a half a star, and even that is too high. Terrible. Aweful. Headache. NO NOT USE AVAS FLOWERS - not local, flowers worth maybe 10% of what you pay - customer service run around. STAY FAR AWAY.

This company poses it's self as a local business. They are not! In this Covid environment I wanted to order and support a local company and after all the BS with the non-delivery of the flowers I ordered I found out that they are far from a home town company. They are just a pass through one, they take your order and then farm it out to whatever florist takes the order. I wanted to get my granddaughter a nice bouquet of flowers to congratulate her on graduating early from college. I wanted to purchase something special for my Godmother who is 98y/o. I wanted to make her smile and be happy since this may be the last Christmas she is here with family. I found a beautiful arrangement at AVAS Flowers that I knew she would love. So, I purchased the DELUXE arrangement. First, I was shocked seeing that there was an additional fee of $17.95 as a Service Fee, God only knew what that was for!!
