I'm just now reading all these reviews on LeafFilter, Very worrying!! My experience so far has been ok. I wanted leaf guard projection, and found the LeafFilter which is ranted #1. I knew going in it was going to expensive, and when the sales guy came out, I stopped the sales pitch and started talking about price. Yes is was very expensive, but like I said I wanted the top notch for my house. The installers came out on time, they even told me that one of there Vans broke down and if they could borrow my ladder, which I had no problem with. The product is 4x the price of other competitive gutter covers companies, and those companies’ prices include new gutters, covers, and installation, too! Please do your research for a comparison of prices—before you agree to a free quote. After a high-pressure sales pitch, where the sales rep. showed me prices of other top gutter cover companies, and undercut their prices for a state of the art product, with lifetime guarantee, a promise of never needing to climb a ladder to clean my gutters again, and/or never having to pay someone to ever clean my gutters, and paying the entire fee after installation and inspection, I agreed to an next day installation. I would not recommend this company for a number of reasons. I just had an installation on Sat but they were supposed to be here between 10 am and 2 pm on Friday so I waited all day and no show not even a phone call I finally had to call them. Then they said we’re sorry and asked if they could come Saturday morning before 10 am and I said yes so now they show up at 11 am and the installer does not speak English. I should have cancelled this whole job on Friday when they didn’t show up but I figured stuff like that happens with scheduling. Now the installer finishes the job in the dark. We were very disappointed in the customer relations.We ordered the gutters and had an appointment with the company for installation, but it rained on the day they were suppose to come, even when we told at point of purchase that they install rain or shine. We stayed home all that day and never received a call to advise us of any changes. When they did come to install 2 days later at 11:00 am we had two beginners working on our home and a lot of mistakes happened. An experienced worker finally showed up and they were installing in the dark. They had to return the next day to finish the job, and the same inexperienced worker came back at 11:00 again. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT unless you want to have black streaks down the front of your gutters. The Leaf Filter system, in concept, is good; it does keep leaves out of your gutters. However, the system comes in sections about 3 feet long. These sections are screwed to your gutter and there are seams at the end of each. After a few short months, you will notice black streaks down the front of your gutters at the location of every seam and every screw. The company will claim that it is your home that has caused this. However, the manager I dealt with admitted that if I did not have Leaf Filter on my home, I would not have the streaking. The company will do NOTHING for you and you... Read More
Yes we got a quote for leaf gutters. Guy came out and said he couldn’t do the job in one stop. Unless we got a tree trimmed next to house. We got tree trimmed.. Then a different employee comes and says we can’t do the job because of the gutter system. Placed a phone call to talk to someone so far nobody has called us back. Very disappointed with this company.
