I am so very disappointed in the Leaf Filter product as well as their post-installation support. I can’t get the company to respond to my calls or emails. Since installation of the Leaf Filters our outdoor porch and deck covers no longer provide protection from the rain. Water just flows right over the top of the gutters like a waterfall. These areas used to be usable in the rain. I’ve followed Leaf Filter ‘s advice to clean the screens but it doesn’t make any difference. I could tell by the demeanor of the service technician that mine is not an unusual issue. I only wish I could speak with a company representative but they clearly don’t want to talk to me. Keep a good strong hand held leaf blower, you will need it to blow off the top of the gutter guards three or four times a year, I have to get up on the roof and blow them off. ( unsafe ). cost 3700.00 not worth it.
I've had problems ever since they installed mine in January. The installer removed diverters from my roof and now water even in mild rain just gushes over the top of this thing and it ruins my much and Iv'e had to removed several plantings that have died as a result.
Their customer service is terrible. They don't respond to numerous emails or calls, and don't show up when they say they are going to.
I am trying to save anyone else from going through our experience with this company!
The Installers did an excellent job in removing the old and installing the new ! Extremely happy with the installation !
Overbooked their jobs. Brett Mammel is the person who scheduled the job and signed a contract with me. The job isn't going to be done by the schedule they promised in the contract. They easily break the contract. Paul was the installation person and only makes excuses, he doesn't seem to solve the problem but rather avoids it by asking me if I want to cancel the installation when they take out all of my gutters. Just disappointing. IF and ONLY IF you want to risk yoursself and do the business with LeafFilter, make sure to ask if they have overbooked their jobs and when is the job going to be done. I have had a job started for 13 days now. They do not have the equipment to finish it and will not pay to rent the equipment or take responsibility for their salesman not giving them the correct information on my home for them to be prepared to do the work as promised or to say they could not do it. The company will not return my call to their service department. The sales man returned my first call the day after it was started and nothing since. The installer is only able to do what he is contracted for I am told. I did put a google review up and then today the reply was they wanted to try to determine the issue I have and take care of it. We had the LeafFilter system installed last year and we have to day we are dissatisfied with the product. IT does not work well in the North country. The water freezes when it hits the mesh. Major ice build up. It streaks black lines on the face of the gutter. Do to the oval screw holes in the guard. Looks terrible. the company spoke person states they will not clean the gutter face. The guard does not stay flat after a few hot months in Mn. Looks very bad from the ground. I will say I have no leaves IN the gutter. There is dirt and roof particles that stay on the screen. Hate to see it in three or four years from now.. WILL the company come out and clean that stuff off the gutter?... Read More

I see from reading the reviews that many are complaints about this system. After having this installed, the debris now gathers between the screen enclosure and the Leaf Filter installation. It is impossible to blow this out with a hose and must be removed with pressure. Also, the debris collects on top of the screen enclosure, the pool patio and the pool chairs. A total mess. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE AND TRULY REGRET THAT I HAD THIS DONE!!
