Don't hold up and service is terrible. Purchased 5 years ago and to get repaired you pay $95 . Shouldn't need repaired for the cost of $6,000. They pop up and still get clogged and we're still on a ladder cleaning them out. Don't invest in them, shop around, there has to be better ones than this!! BBB should look into the complaints, there's too many of them and they all sound about the same. What a waste of $6000!!

Don't get this product. The mesh will eventually plug up and it will cost a lot of money to have them removed and cleaned. When I talked to a LeafFilter rep at the NY State Fair he had to admit that was true.

We had Leaf Filter installed on our house last fall. Due to having to pay in full upfront, we only did the back and side at that time. Overall, we have been very happy with the performance of the system. Our challenge has been with getting new service for the rest of the house. When we called, we were told someone would have someone get back to us in a short amount of time as existing customers. After watching the rain pour over our front gutters for over three months, we decided to give up.

After spending over $5k for Leaf Filter, now find out still have to get up on roof to clean the gutters!!! I'm having more gushing overflows than EVER before. When I asked, they said still need to clean on and around gutters to prevent overflows. Must've been in the fine print because they never said that during sales pitch!!!!! So why bother having them installed? Answer - DON'T!

We understand that being a homeowner comes with many responsibilities and the last thing you want to do is clean your gutters. LeafFilter is considered "low-maintenance" because like any exterior part of your home, there is some level of upkeep required for optimal performance. While you may have to brush off any debris that doesn't blow off on its own - you won't have to clean your gutters out. Do not use these people to install your gutters. One of my recently installed is pitched 1.25 inches away from the downspout another has a 1 inch dip in the center . The corners are not aligned and there is so much caulk there is a dam at each corner. Did not finish job on day of installation and 5 months and 3 promised appearances have not appeared to finish . Each time I call their paperwork says it was completed on their scheduled appearance day.

Bought Leaf filter back in 2019 and when new roof was installed this weekend the roofer said that who ever installed this gutter guards had put the wrong size on it. My roof shingles would have a bump on the top bottom edge because the width of the leaf guard was to wide which brought the top of the leaf guard up on the plywood which then made the bumps on the the bottom edge of the shingles I should have inspected it before I paid for it just wasted $3,300 dollars for it. Had to have the roofer take it out because it will do the same thing on my new roof. I'm going to try to make this short, because my complaints are pretty much the same as the others on here, I really wish I had of did my homework like I normally do, but I went on the advice of a friend and the sales lady (Loren), never again, if I had read these reviews first, I would not have dealt with these yahoos, nothing but lies from day one, they came out quick to make the sell, the next day, and to do the "work", they were supposed to seal the leaks on the old gutters, they leaked the first time it rained after they fixed them, when the guy was done I asked if he checked them, he said you'll be be able to tell when it rains, I don't believed he did anything about the leaks, just... My experience does not match the good reviews. First the initial installers were not fully trained to adjust the gutter angle and install the materials. The job was not done correctly. Then they sent out another person to inspect the job and he agreed that the job needed a redo. Then they sent out a person to redo much of the job. There was never an adjustment to the correct angle of the gutters. I did have a new roof installed. I finally had another person from the company come out and found out that the roofer had had to redo the gutter protection. He then decided that what the roofers did voided my warrantee. I had four different gutter companies quote my job. All came in a timely manner and explained their products. The regional sales manager for Leaf Filter southwest Florida visited me…I believe his name was Jim. He was knowledgeable and sat my wife and I down and presented many photos and company information. When providing a price it was in three levels, each significantly lower. I felt like car shopping 30 years ago. He left with no commitment and couldn’t leave us any paperwork on the quote. Leaf Filter was the most responsive company to my request for an estimate. My sales rep was very knowledgeable and presented the pluses and minuses of the various types of gutter guards. Looking at the options I selected Leaf Filter. I have more pine needles than leaves to deal with and without an initial way to prevent them from entering my gutters they required cleaning at least one cleaning a year if not two at $350 each time. Although I accept the possibility the screens will need to be blown off occasionally which should be a less expensive prospect than a total cleaning.
