The Leaf filter system does work for rain. We had our first snow, And when the snow slides off the roof it takes the filter mesh to the ground with it. I wonder why Leaf Filter failed to mention this? Maybe because nobody in a snow area will purchase their system?
Now they want me to pay $105 just for someone to come out and give me an estimate to do the repair at additional cost. And what happens the next time it snows? Same issue again no doubt. I called customer service and spoke to a nice lady, She stated that leaf Filter doesn't have a warranty for storm damage. So every time it snows that is considered a storm? I don't think so. Time for an attorney.

This company does not deserve a 5 rating. They installed the gutters on areas that they now say have rotted and they had nothing to do with it. They did not honor their warranty .They said the wood was fine for installation when they wanted my 10 thousand dollars, but now that the gutters don't work my wood was rotten. No customer service. A losy company. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. They are the worst.

I believe that I was scammed by the leafFilter salesman, the crew that came and spent less than one hour working on our two straight 30 yard eve troughs. They had to use and move 30 foot ladders to clean, seal, clip old nails and install new leaffilter brackets, then install the leaf filter screening to complete the "LeafFilter Suystem." All this in less than one hour. I cannot climb up to see what they did. I certainly would NOT recommend this company to anyone!!!

Not recommended. This product didn't delivered what promised. I have LeafFilter installed 3 years ago and every year I had to get up a ladder to clean up the gutter mesh. Leaves, dirt and shingle grit make a paste that rapidly clogs the fine mesh and any rain will run over and overflow. My house has a relatively low pitch and the locust trees leaves and pine needles contribute to the clogging of the LeafFilter. To me this product has not been better than any other systems I have tried. Disappointed.

LeafFilter is an awful system if you live in a rural/wooded setting. The LeafFilter rep will NOT tell you his system is a poor choice in wooded settings. The company does however, concentrate on talking up the "Lifetime Transferable Warranty". What they never mention is, the screening that covers the gutter will continuously clog if you have any trees. If you ask their sales rep about the possibility of clogs, you'll be told two things: 1/ "The wind blows everything away". (A VERY false statement. I wish this site allowed jpeg uploads) 2/ "Your lifetime warranty covers clogging". (The warranty covers "gutter" clogs only. If debris builds up on top of the screen that covers the... Read More

I liked the idea and it worked --- for a while. Because the gutter guards are NOT installed on a angle, pine needles and leaves and other debris PILE P ON TOP and block the water. Hence the result is overflow. I called 3 times to get them there to fix to no avail. I have no one to clear the tops on my second floor..... What can I do?

I am so sorry we ever believed our sales agent. We had Leaf Filter set up at our house in 2018. Two individuals showed up to install them. Our house is very high on one side which is why we chose to have them installed. One of the two men had never ever been on a ladder before. Well we noticed that we have a ton of debris in our gutters which is causing them to back up and just drip on us whenever we come in/out of the house. We have water backing up into the attic. We have mold in our attic now and are working with a mold remediation team to get rid of the mold. My girls are having respiratory issues and one of them had her asthma return, great! I am very concerned about this company. My father has early dementia, and my mother is terminally ill. The company came into my parents' home using shifty sales tactics, suggesting that the product is typically TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. My father, not understanding, and my mother, not knowing, thought they got a deal when the salesperson went from one outlandish price to a lower but still outlandish price. The bottom line is, they took advantage of two vulnerable people. Leaf Filter installed their filter on my one story house and started to lift off called company and wanted $97 service charge.
They came and blamed my roofer when he came showed me were the installer didn’t screw down 4 places and caused it to lift up
Leaf FilterSaid warranty was not valid because wasRoofer was-at fault
The filter cost me$2,288 being a senior that’s a drain on my income
Got another company put filter on that wasn’t plastic and doing side and back of house charged me $250 quite a difference
Seems all they do is blame someone so can cancel warranty

Wife needs to be home when estimator comes—really. Doing work in neighborhood but the address is confidential. Cant give an guestimate as to what my single story, 3,000 sq ft home would cost.
