We have had ours for two years. Gutters leak and we still have to get out a ladder and clean all the debris off of the guards. Where is the safety for homeowners that you advertise???? Most of the time the water just runs over the top and washes out the ground below which has created new issues. When we called to have issues resolved we just got a runaround. Gave up after the first year. Just an FYI - If you sign a contract agreeing for the work stated on it and some of that work does not get done for whatever reason....do not expect a refund. WAY OVER PRICED for how poorly they work.

If you want a company who will rip you off, look no further! The salesman did his job perfectly. Sold me on a "great product." The day the installation came, the crew that showed up was spanish speaking and only one person spoke english. Very little at that. They proceeded to ask me if I had already signed a contract with leaf filter because on the side they could cut me a better deal. I told them I had so they left! They did not even start to do the work. They came back later that day and started work on the house. Installed last year. This year the catkins or tassels from my oak trees are covering the "leaf filters". Have been accumulating for a couple of weeks. Don't seem to blow off. Very disappointed.

LeafFilter is considered "low-maintenance" because like any exterior part of your home, there is some level of upkeep required for optimal performance. While you may have to brush off any debris that doesn't blow off on its own - you won't have to clean your gutters out! I really like your product and look forward to someday getting it installed for my house. I signed a contract (WDC02790) back in March 19, 2022. The salesperson, Darryl Featherstone, did a very thorough job explaining your system, taking notes of the existing gutter system in my house, took photos, and spoke with the installation supervisor over the phone, etc. I was sold as much on the LeafFilter product as I was on his enthusiasm and personality. I’ll start my product review with Leaf-Filter’s sales person, Alex Elliot, as he was pleasant, but with a used-car salesman approach, which I somewhat expected when it involves expensive home improvement products. I was forced to contact Alex the next day to discuss why he only gave me a 5 percent senior discount, not your nationally advertised 10 percent senior discount, and it took me saying cancel my order before he agreed to provide me with the 10 percent senior discount. These leaf filters prevent leaves from filling and clogging open gutters, but they create their own clogging problem. If you have common roofing shingles with embedded grit, these leaf filters will clog with grit from the shingles as they age from sun and rain and flow down the roof onto the leaf filter micro mesh filters. If you have smooth, sheet metal roof covering you wouldn't have this problem. If you have several trees that shed small leaves (such as live oak trees) they lodge and accumulate on the surface of the Leaf Filter screen and block water from flowing through the fine mesh. These gutters work great in warm weather. In the cold winters snow gets on them, they get wet and turns to ice. The ice buildup puts stress on the gutters and leaks over the gutters.

I met with with Jeff {sales rep} today and he explained everything from top to bottom. Jeff gave me a very competitive price for replacing a few damaged gutters, and replacing the old leaf protection system with their new #1 rated product called Leaf Filter. The best part is they are starting tomorrow morning barring any unusaul weather changes and it comes with a transferrable lifetime warranty. I would highly recommend at least meeting with Leaf Filter before deciding on another company.
