hear.com Additional Services

Features and Price - 4 / 5

Hear.com customers work with hearing aid specialists during their free consultation, who can discuss the many hearing aid options available through the company. Your hearing test will be administered in person by a licensed audiologist or virtually, if you prefer. Adjustments to your hearing aids may be made in person or, in many cases, via mobile app.

Features and prices vary according to the hearing aid model you eventually choose, but customers can benefit from the latest hearing aid technology, due to Hear.com's network of manufacturers.

The company doesn't currently list the total cost of its hearing aids on its website, only the cost to finance them. For customers who don't wish to finance their hearing aids but rather purchase them outright, that makes it difficult to comparison shop. The company does state that customers pay between $139.00 and $229 per month for 36 months for a pair of hearing aids. Hear.com will work with your insurance provider to help you claim the maximum benefits available to you.

Hear.com offers a risk-free 45-day trial period, during which, if you're not satisfied with your hearing aids, you can return them for a full refund. Depending on the model you choose, your hearing aids are protected by a warranty of one to three years.

My husband received your hearing aids last year. He has had to contact Hear.com several times to help with static or other problems he has had with his purchase. The first Audiologist was excellent and told us if he had a lot of problems they would send him new hearing aids. The second Audiologist said no and really didn't know how to work the hearing aids to up..grade them. When my husband said they were not sitting right in the charge case she said someone would call.(never happened) Now there is a problem with our next visit because of a miss communication on his part. He will be waiting 3 weeks for a new appointment. It says in the information on line that they will send you to an... Read More

If you like classical music, don't waste your money. Signia hearing aids turn a piano note into a clang between A4 and G5, that's between 500 and 600 Hz, destroying piano music, and a lot else.

If you are into classical music don't waste your money. The hearing aid sound reproduction is defective between 400 and 600 Hz, A4 to D5 on a piano. Piano music is ruined.

I listen to classical music and my Signia hearing aid caused problems especially for piano music. I eventually found it squashes tones between 400 to 600 Hz. Don't waste your money if you're into classical music.

The worst customer service ever. I never got a receipt for my hearing aids. I paid $4100 in full for my hearing aids and when I tried to return them I was turned away from my scheduled appointment and now I have no time left for the 45 day free trial. My hearing aids are NOT rechargeable they have regular watch type batteries that you have to replace every 4-5 days and they are NOT compatible with any iPhone or any APP. The sound quality is like a tin can and I have no way to get any service because no one will call me back. I don't want these hearing aids and when I told them that they just tried to upsell me a more expensive pair. I don't want to give them any stars but I'm sure I have... Read More

I had a feeling that I was hearing higher frequencies less clear and contacted Hear.com. They got back to me right away and I signed on to a 45 day test period. They organized an appointment with a certified hearing specialist where I was tested and they recommended Widex hearing aids which immediately improved my hearing. The handling of these brilliant rechargeable hearing aids is easy and provides the possibility of adjusting them to different settings on your smartphone, I.e. for television, phone, restaurant and other environments. After the 45days test phase I bought them because I noticed the amazing improvement especially when watching movies or listening to music or being in a... Read More

They sell junk and don't back their products. Received a phone call yesterday from Hear.com asking how my hearing aids were working. I told the rep they don't work and haven't in a long time. Then I have received this email: (Hi David, It was great talking to you today. Based on everything you’ve told me, I believe you could benefit greatly from the latest in hearing technology, and I want to help. Hearing aids usually last 3 to 5 years before they start losing effectiveness. If you’ve noticed a decline in your hearing aids, it may be time for an upgrade.) When I bought my hearing aids I was never told they only last 3 to 5 years in fact was told they should last a long... Read More
