Overall Rating: 3.5 / 5 (Very good)

Evaluating Signia hearing aids is difficult because the brand is so new. Although the brand is essentially a continuation of the Siemens line of hearing aids, it's not possible at this point evaluate which of the old Siemens products are the same as the new Signia products. Still, three facts are worth noting. One is that Siemens, overall, has a great reputation for engineering and design. The second is that Signia offers an unusually broad range of products with a great many high-end features. And the third is that Signia is self-described as the premium brand of the Sivantos group that owns a number of different hearing aid companies. From these facts, consumers should be cautiously confident in Signia's ability to deliver a good state-of-the-art product.

Signia Product Offerings

Hearing Aid Style - 3.5 / 5

Signia's most significant strength lies in the breadth of its product line and the numerous features that it puts into its hearing aids. The company has moved deeply into the development of hearing aids that are compatible with a number of external devices--mobile phones, computers, televisions, tablets, personal digital assistants, etc.

Signia Additional Services

Features and Price - 3.5 / 5

Signia offers a hearing test in the form of a downloadable smartphone app. Its website is very informative about hearing loss issues, though unfortunately the search feature on the site makes locating specific information difficult. Information about trial periods and financing may be obtainable from a hearing professional.

Signia Pricing

Battery Life - 3.5 / 5

Signia hearing aids are sold to consumers by hearing professionals. Further, their wide range of products and features create a myriad of price points. For those reasons, pricing information is not available online. Consumers are advised to consult with their hearing professionals and to get a quotes from more than one brand of hearing aids.

Signia After-Sale Service

Customer Experience - 3.5 / 5

Signia does not publish any information about its product support. There is a web form on the company's website that people can use to make comments and ask questions, but there are no phone numbers, email addresses, or chat lines through which a customer can obtain product support. Presumably support can be obtained through the prescribing hearing professional, but this is hardly a substitute for knowledgeable support personnel. Signia does not appear to publish any warranty details on its site and the search feature on its website is not functioning. Possibly these oversights are due to the newness of the Signia brand, but given the depth of experience and financial resources the company commands, it's disappointing that the company keeps potential customers of an expensive product line in the dark about key after-sale services.

Signia Reputation

Reputation - 3.5 / 5

Since Signia is a new name in the hearing aid industry, it hasn't yet established an online reputation. There is nothing about the brand on the BBB website and very little on Trustpilot. But though the brand is new, Signia hearing aids were formerly known as Siemens products, and Siemens is a well-respected company.

I have been misled and my problems totally ignored by this company. Medicare should look into their business practices. My advice to other seniors would be " BUYER BEWARE"

Be very careful if you plan on buying Signia hearing aids...research their policies. I purchased their Silk 1fx model in late 2018 at a cost of $2600.00. The left one quit working about 2 1/2 years later and of course it was out of the 2 year warranty and cost $300.00 to send out for repair. Now in early 2024, the left one quit working again and I wanted to send in in for repair AGAIN but guess what? They apparently have quit repairing this model as it has been discontinued! How's that for 'customer service'?! So I'm relegated to purchasing a new set of hearing aids and you can be sure it won't be theirs. Nice job, Signia!!

Signa is crap. I have had to repair my left Styletto Connect hearing aid 3 times. Now the warranty is over its going to cost me 320 dollars to repair. Do Not By These. They're crap. Originally I paid out of pocket over $1000 to get these and that was above and beyound my insurance coverage. I hate these things and wish someone would sue them.

I paid 7000.00 for the Signia Stiletto and they are junk. Out of 3 years they have replaced them 3 times and have been sent back as i type this for the fourth time. Out of 3 years I have maybe worn them 6 moths because they are always broke. Precision Hearing also does not give you loaners so your back to hard of hearing. Please read and do your research on Signia before buying, you will be very let down! Save your money, do your research and purchased another brand of hearing aid. I called Signia directly and was told so sorry, we can't help you!

I had mine 2 years; they are biggest piece of shit I've ever owned. I keep taking them back to be fixed, wait 2 or 3 weeks. Then they work for a week or 3. When you're traveling you can't get them fixed. I paid $6,000. Then I bought some for $148 They work great. I'm taking them to Small Claims Court and picketing the store I bought them from :). Now that it's warm out. They would tell me they were dirty; I clean them every day. They would always try to put the blame on me, why they wouldn't work. They had them more then I had them. Why does my $148 ones I bought work with on problems???? JG

My custom in the ear Signia set up to receive a cross transmitter from the other ear, went out after just over 60 days. I brought it to the audiologist and is being sent in for service, as I have a warranty until 2025. Hopefully it will be back within a week and no other issues.

The Product was perfect once fitted properly, service has been a big problem for me. Dispensaries fold up and leave no contact information, no phone number etc. My product is still under warrantee even though it quit working about a year ago. No one seems to be able to help me, so I have reached out to corporate headquarters for assistance, as a last resort, we will see where it goes from here. I am a Retired Firefighter and a musician; my hearing is very important. I invested $3,000 to hear. Smkey1

I just got my new signia hearing aids today and I love them. They are so easy to use. I can hear with no echo sound and while outside there was no wind noise . Just so comfortable that I don't even feel them in my ears. I thought i would have to get used to them being in my ears but they feel great

I had the old Sieman's battery-type hearing aids and had fewer problems than I'm having with the new rechargeable. I sometimes lose hearing in one ear with blue tooth listening to music or on a phone call. I have to restart the phone to clear the problem. I've also had (on occasion) where I lose the hearing aids altogether! The battery life showing 68% still available? To fix the problem, I have had to put the hearing aids in the charging station as there is no other way to reboot the hearing aids? This is a major problem when I'm traveling in my car or out shopping or visiting somewhere. Else, the quality is good and the feature that permits directional hearing is a good feature.
