It took three days to get a technician assigned and two more days before he is scheduled to come. That's a long time to go without a freezer.
We appreciate Choice Home Warranty and the service we always receive. We haven't had a lot of claims but the claims that we have had have been addressed promptly and professionally within 24 to 48 hours.
The last two experiences with Choice Home Warranty have been horrible! Our refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling and freezing Oct. 26. I put a claim in Oct. 27 and got an email saying that a tech would be coming the following day. No one ever came or called. I called Choice Home Warranty again and got the run around for an about a hour. In the meantime I had to purchase a small refrigerator so my family had some place to store the food that hadn't spoiled yet. We were then told that a tech would be coming Nov. 5 between 11am -3pm. The lady was very helpful and understanding. She got me together very quickly. I liked the way we interacted with each other.
I hate the fact that I cannot speak to anyone on the phone but this time it worked out. Xavier knew right away what the problem was and it was fixed to my satisfaction.
The technician from C&D was wonderful. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it promptly. I’m so happy they were able to come quickly and fix my refrigerator.
He has been to my house several times. He always does a good job and would recomend him again.
Excellent service. it was quick and compete. Tech was courteous and knowledgeable.
My toilet was leaking and the technicians said they needed to pull the toilet to replace the wax ring. They called ya'll and they were told by ya'll that you would only cover $50.00. they said they couldn't do it for that and their boss said they needed to leave. So, I'm very dissatisfied with your performance!
Hopefully ya'll will do better next time. But at this point, I would not recommend you - the techs said 2 home warranty providers were much better to work with so I'll keep that in mind.
Ya'll continue to lower my expectations which I guess is the point.
My representative was very thorough and knowledgeable, Answered all my questions before I purchased the warranty, Definitely will be giving him a referral.

Technician was good. Cost for service visit by choice home warranty $100 is too high compared to other companies so we will be switching to American home shield.

It's very difficult to place an order with messaging service. I place two orders with representative for plumbing work for two different items and got charged two different service charge totaling $130 using the same Company. It supposed to be $65. Plus, the company charge me an extra $10.
The warranty for my home has always been there and very useful, doing exactly what it says. I couldn't imagine not having it.
I was skeptical when placing a service order with CHW because so many home warranty companies have horrible reviews.
I placed an order online which was super fast and easy by just completing a form and paying the service visit fee. I got to pick my own window. No pesky humans involved - easy peasy! Lol
The technician called me to let me know he was on his way within the specified window. When he arrived, he was friendly, courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem, had the part in his truck, fixed it and was on his way.
I am beyond pleased with this service so far!
Your company does not believe in paying claims. I feel as if I threw my money away buying a policy from Choice Home Warranty.
Horrible company, did not provide services as promised. Called to have refrigerator checked as it was not freezing or cooling. I had unplugged machine and when tech came out, turned it on and said it was working just fine. Had to pay my co-pay of 75, three weeks later same problem, same refrigerator, had to pay 75 co pay, which I should not of had to as it was within 30 days. Basically told tech, what I thought needed to be done, he ordered parts, waited approximately 30 days for him to finish repair. I didn't give you 5 stars because you are good with getting a vendor to handle simple appliance problems - - but --- were terrible when i had a water leak. You could not get someone and i had to go outside to handle.

Many thanks to Choice Home Warranty for accommodating my difficult schedule by assigning the Top Tier Garage door repair company to my claim. Devon at Top Tier was Exceptional. He ALWAYS answered his phone when I called. He ran a few minutes late for our appointment, but I didn’t care AT ALL because he called me and told me that he would be a little late. He introduced himself to me when he arrived at my home and he shook my hand. He was dressed neatly in a Top Tier uniform. You can submit a claim 24/7, including holidays, via phone, online, or app. The company utilizes proprietary technology to begin the dispatching process after a claim is filed. The company has recently updated their plans increasing coverage and has fewer limitations. Their plans and optional coverage can cover over 25 major systems and appliances.
Choice Home Warranty earns a B rating from the Better Business Bureau and has a positive rating on Trustpilot, but in this industry, negative customer reviews far outnumber positive ones.
