BEWARE! The Wyndham Rewards customer service sucks and I will give them -0 rating. While I was talking with the agent she cut me off several times until I told her to listen to me first. At the end of the conversation, I was asked if I wanted to listed to a promotion which would earn me 15,000 points for listening and some deep discounts on hotels, etc. I listened but did not take their offer. I asked about the 15K points and was told it would be in my account within 24 hours. The points weren't in my account as promised. I wrote them an email but no answer. I called again and was told to wait the following day. Nothing! Called again and was told that if I took the promotion then... Read More

Expires reward points without warning. No response from customer service. Lousy customer service. Use any other hotel chain.

Everything about this program has become a joke. It used to be a good program with some flaws, but now that they changed to a tier program that charges 30,000 points for a resort property or vacation rental that was 15,000 before, it is a waste of time considering their low price guarantee is also worthless. Priceline is typically $20 - $30 less per night than the Wyndham website and nicer accomodations. I stay about 80 nights a year that would earn me about 100,000 points. That will now only get me only 3 free nights at one of their resorts or vacation rentals. If I book Priceline and save on average $25 a night I save about $2,000 in a year and can get a very nice vacation property... Read More

Can I give a -5? I have tried several times to switch my La Quinta account to Wyndham, without success. You can't just setup you account online without a sales pitch of some sort. I hung up after I got the email and was unable to set up my account. One phone number was "giving either a $100 shopping card or $50 dining card" and had to agree to it before I could talk to someone about fixing my account. After telling the person that I was not interested, please transfer me several times and they refused, I finally hung up. Waste of time and effort. I rarely write negative reviews, but this is just so far over the top it needs to be reported.

This program is a joke. The points take 5 days to appear on your account, so if you are staying a number of consecutive nights (in our case ten), we cannot use over half of them by the time we finish our road trip. That also means you cannot even SEE YOUR POINTS until 5 days into a trip - After a long phone call we were told "nothing they can do" - What garbage. There is no reason for an app to be this slow it's simply to avoid people using them. Disgusted.

Wyndham is a joke! They have all this money and yet they can't seem to get their website working properly and not to mention all of their hotels are poorly run and extremely out of date. I used to be apart of their vacation club which is also a joke! This company has no ethical standards and is all about squeezing as much out of their customers without giving anything in return!

RCW Bulverde tx We had been trying to decide whether to stay with Choice Privileges program or our Wyndham Rewards Program. We stayed in a Super 8 motel in Lake Jackson, Tx on 5/2/2019. We asked for a room with 2 queen beds on the bottom floor, non-smoking. Once we signed up, we went to our room and opened the door. Oh my gosh, the smell alone would have knocked you over, the floor was filthy and the carpet was mushy. We tried to turn on the lights, but half of the bulbs were burned out. When we got the lights that were working on, the sight we saw was amazing. Probably a 3 foot by 3 foot section of the ceiling had water dripping on the floor and dresser. There was mold on... I am Diamond, just checked into Ramada, no arrival gift, no upgrade. Front desk said we don't do upgrade for diamond members. Wyndham rewards is pretty worthless.

We have been with this program since 2005 and have we stay in a motel an average of 2 times per month. We have only received 1 free room in all of the years. Best Western will give you a free night every 3rd stay. I do not see that this rewards program even works!! I don't think they are giving us our points. It's a total joke.

Issue #1) Why do I have to save and submit my receipts to get the points allowed? Isn't this account linked to my name/zip code etc? I feel like I signed up for this and they pick and choose when, where and how they will award you any points. Issue #2) After a three week road trip where I would instruct my wife to "book a hotel a ways up the highway for the night, but be sure its a Windham hotel as I can get the points for it." If I have to beg for the times where it was reserved and paid for by me then I wonder how their going to treat these nights? What a scam! Wish I never signed up for this. After all of these nights and still not even a free night. Its a joke.
