I don't write reviews, I don't read reviews. But I have say something because I was really shocked at my experience. It was all good, the guys were great, the company I ended up hiring was allegiance moving and Storage and they were great. Everyone always has to let everyone know how pissed they are about whatever. Sometimes you need to push yourself to write something good. I support this company and everyone else who nothing good to say, keep your hands in your pockets and stay away from your keyboard.
I'd to post a review for the outstanding sales and customer support I received from Allegiance Moving and Storage. I called to get an idea on pricing for a cross country move. The move specialist I spoke to was extremely thorough. We went through each room in my home, including the, outdoor patio area and basement. Thirty years of living in the same home really puts the amount of stuff you collect in perspective when trying to give an accurate inventory list. I'd like to post a moving review based on our experience with Allegiance Moving and Storage. We sold our home much quicker than anticipated. The problem was trying to get a move secured & find a company that had a warehouse for storage until we bought a house. So keeping our possessions in a local storage place would not work, logisticslly, for us. We would have to of hired a moving company to get pick up the items in ID, fly back to be at the storage unit when movers showed up and then fly back to NC. We needed to have a company that could move us, had a climate controlled facility to stow our items for a minimum of 30 days and then deliver them when we found a permanent residence. I... Read More
I don't usually write reviews but I had no idea about moving. This was a first for me and I was completely in the dark. I called local movers but they could only facilitate "intrastate" moves, adding confusion to confusion. Now I'm at the mercy of the internet and needed to select a few companies and do some research. Who knew it could be this complex. After reaching out to several companies that confused me more, I spoke to a " move coordinator " at Allegiance Moving and Storage. I was scammed by this companies third party movers (Western Van Lines) in Colorado just last week and cannot get anyone from Allegiance to return my calls. Western showed up to pick up my belongings and insisted that I pay an extra $4000 before he would start loading my stuff because he claimed that I had 1600 cu ft instead of the 1440 cu ft I told them I had. I would not pay it and told him to just load the 1440 cu ft I paid for and I will be satisfied. With about a third of my storage unit still full, he came to me and said he was done. I am giving 5 out of 5 stars to Allegiance Moving. My expectations with moving companies are usually pretty low based on past experiences. I picked them because of all the positive reviews I have seen online on various websites. Dealing with the company ahead of times was super easy and great! They wrapped my banisters for protection so I didn’t need to worry about damage. I don’t want to have to move ever again if I can help it but if I do have it I will be calling ALLEGIANCE back and referring everyone I know.
This is not going to be a very long review but definitely warranted. I moved cross country, hired Allegiance Moving and Storage, selected a day to expect movers to pack my home and then put my items on the truck. I drove from a small town in Southern California to New Hamshire. I never expected my delivery to arrive so quickly. But within 7 days, the day after I arrived in New Hampshire, a driver called to make me aware he would be arriving the following day in the early afternoon. He called that day to make me aware he'd be at my home within the hour, and he did. Allegiance Moving and Storage movers are the best!!!!! They were able to get me squeezed in that week for my move and I didn't have to pay expedited fees, hidden prices or the unexplained charges on my estimate. It was very clear what I was paying for, how much I was expected to pay when the guys arrived to load my stuff and when they were ready to deliver my stuff. No surprises, no addtional added on, unexplained or a bogus charges. Plus they were available to reach after 5, which was very cool and unexpected. Just thought it would different to give a company a thumbs up instead of the usual thumbs down.
Allegiance Van Lines is the worst moving company in the USA. They were dishonest from the start and gave a horrible experience. 1) The sales rep, Anthony D, lied to me on when my shipment would arrive. He told me it would arrive in 7 days and it took almost a month before they delivered my items. I had to buy new items for our apartment. My wife and kids were inconvenienced because Anthony misled us. He said he would try to refund our out of pocket expenses, but he did not refund a dime. Allegiance Moving was great handling my move. They packed my flat screen TVs in boxes I didn't keep. I was so nervous they were going to arrive broken. The crew assured me not to worry, they took care of everything I didn't know how to or wasn't prepared to. I was impressed with their due diligence and effort in detail.
