My 14 year old son figure out to remove the app in 12 hours. This product is useless.
Same issue as other parents where the actual blocks are not working.
My child was easily able to figure out how to remove the app herself.
When I requested a refund, they stated they do not give refunds.
Find something else!
Over this useless product, has not worked as promised or advertised. I thought it was blocking my daughters access to certain apps, websites and adult content on her IPhone and IPad, only to discover she still had access. Don’t waste your money like I did.
Thank goodness for this App! I tell all the other parents about it, my son hates that I do that! It helps turn my son's iphone into just a phone during school time which keeps him out of trouble, I can control the amount of time he is allowed or just block all the apps instantly. It was a game changer for us, gave us parents back the control over his phone.
Only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that I have not really been able to get the location thing to work properly.
Not satisfied. Even with app working, child was able to access all the aps she wanted. So does not work properly.
I decided to cancel the premium subscription.
It took far too long for a helpful response from their support team, and the time spent trying to get it to work was unreasonable (literally hours). I am proficient on a computer -- my profession requires it -- but no amount of troubleshooting, removing management and reinstalling/re-pairing... restarting devices and re-running OurPact Utility was solving the problem. Unfortunately, this was more trouble than it was worth. I'll stick with the free version and supplement with the restrictions Apple allows you to make in Family Sharing. It is a shame. It looked like if it actually loaded properly it would have been a great tool.
Poor service and very misleading. Was charged for something that wouldn't work as promised. And now can't get my money back according to OurPact. Don't use this app!
Have had problem after problem. Found my child is still able to text after blocking it refreshing and restarting his phone. Can only get help via email which has been frustrating. Can not track child as I pay for premium but after several emails found out the our pact jr app no longer exists. Have had multiple problems and after u wait for email answer any not apply let alone be easy to understand. I have jumped through many hoops and am tired after many months.
Terrible, looks like scam. You provide credit card information to tri premium features and then get mail that application that manage premium features is not available... You cancel free trial through downloaded application, as they ask you to do and get confirmation. But... it does not cancel your billing through apple. So, you are charged after trial expiration day any way. Only then you figure out that cancelation should be done through Apple. Installation of app is painful as well. Get different app.
The only reason I give this app 2.5 stars is because on an android it works OK but on an iphone it sucks. It allows me to set blocks, or schedules that block the apps that I tell it to block during specific times. That feature is nice and works great on an android. It allows me to grant extra time if the child requests it and I think they need it, that is great on the android. It shows me what apps are being downloaded, that works great on both android and iphone. It shows me a list of all the apps on the phone and then I can choose if I want it always blocked, blocked during the scheduled times or always on, that works great on the android.
