Fetch is a leading provider of pet insurance in Canada and is a company dedicated to helping pet owners keep the costs of pet treatments under control. Fetch's standard plan covers new illnesses and accidents without restrictions for hereditary or congenital conditions. The company also provides a wide range of treatment options that would typically not be available in other companies' standard offers. Medications, diagnostic testing, non-preventative dental treatments, MRI, CAT Scan and ultrasound are all offered as standard as well. What's more, Fetch does not place any restrictions on older animals. Senior pets have access to the same coverage limits and deductibles as younger ones.

Summary

Fetch provides a good mix of coverage and benefit options that makes it a solid choice if you are looking for pet insurance in Canada. Filing a claim is easy and claims are typically reimbursed within a couple of days. The company also features a number of discount options that can help pet owners make pet insurance more affordable. AARP members, Walmart shoppers, and pet parents who adopt can save on premiums, subject to approval. Fetch pretty much covers all the standard items you'd be looking for in a pet insurance provider and more. The fact that older animals are not discriminated against is a big plus, and 24/7 support, comprehensive coverage including payment of the veterinary exam fees, and great customer service are all nothing to sneeze at as well.

My oh my I just did some math and it is scary. My pets insurance starts at around 50.00 per month (unlimited coverage, 1000 deductible annual and 90% reimbursement). I have 3 dogs, two are 6 months old and the other 18 months old. By the time they reach 12 yrs of age the premium based on today's rates is close to 300.00 per month per dog. I have owned German Shepherds for over 20 years and to date have not had anything go wrong other than routine things until about the age of 7 and often not till around 9 or 10 years of age. When I calculate all the insurance premiums I would be paying over the years I am further ahead to self insure. Yes I realize I could be behind the 8 ball is... Read More

They are in usa not in Canada, if your pet had an ear infection prior to the insurance taken from them, they will not cover if it occurs for 30 months from the day insurance taken... all their communication are from usa in regular mail with no tracking system.. so if there was any you expect, it will reach many months later... better take an insurance which has office in your country

With the new underwriter and policy coming into effect my rates have increased 52% for the same coverage I currently have. The information I got in the mail regarding the new policy also tried to upsell me by suggesting I increase my coverage. If I don't call or go online to change this it will automatically become the new policy and they will begin to bill me for the additional coverage. This company charges a deductible per condition and not per year as many other insurance companies do. Currently my pet has no claims and no preexisting conditions so I am looking at other alternatives.

Check all the complaints about them and the negative reviews with the Better Business Bureau. Search them up by their postal code 19073, they are listed as Fetch Insurance Services. I guess Pet Plan is just the marketing name, helps when you are doing shady business. Don't trust the positive Facebook reviews, so easy to hide negative feedback on social media.

ZERO customer loyalty.... 7 year old dog, no claims ever. This year they put my premium up from $50 per month to $90..... nothing more than daylight robbery, taking advantage of the love we all have for our pets and their care. Disgraceful.

Very fair, generous, great prices, great coverage, outstanding customer service (available 24/7 and answer within seconds). I've had no issues whatsoever with PetPlan (Canada). I've been very pleasantly surprised. Compared with other insurance companies, which I find to be unnecessarily overpriced and I hear are anal/tricky about coverage, PetPlan is very fair and has fantastic coverage. I highly recommend pet insurance, especially for dogs. I have utilized my claims without any issues. PetPlan works for me. PS: Customer Service rep Emily rocks.

Confusing, expensive and don't cover what they say they will.
