The complaint alleges that in numerous instances Delta Auto Protect failed to authorize covered repairs, wrongfully denied covered claims, failed to respond to claims inquiries, failed to refund consumers for contract cancellations, and otherwise misrepresented their business practices. This case has not yet come to trial and the truth of these allegations has not been adjudicated.

Delta Auto is fast and reliable with friendly customer service. I'm not car savy and they made me feel extremely comfortable because the reps who work there know so much about cars. I recently had a problem with my heater spurting out mist and smoking. They were able to advise me on what to do to be safe until a tow truck came. Very reassuring to have this company behind me.
The Delta Auto Protect extended warranty has been my favorite purchase over the last 9 years. I first purchased it so long ago that I know the policies like the back of my hand. I have used it several times and through the years it has had my back every time. The most recent example of the great customer service at Delta Auto Protect was when my car broke down.The situation was very stressful and I realized soon that Delta would take care of it. This past spring I bought a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. In September the car started jerking on the freeway and wouldn't go into the highest gear and wouldn't go above 45 mph. I eventually got to my destination, but the next day I had the car looked at and turns out my transmission was shot! Fortunately, I had Delta Auto Protect and was only out of pocket a few hundred bucks. The total bill to rebuild the transmission was nearly $5,000! Don't wait until it's too late. I had to call them 3 times to cancel my policy, within 30 days period I did not receive my money back. 30 days money back guarantee only on a paper. A month later they fed me with promises "We sent you a check please wait 14 days" a few weeks later I called them and they said "We didn't send you the check we will send it within next few days. Again call them to confirm if it was sent and they say yes, waited for the check 14 days and didn't come. I called them they said again we will send it soon. So I'm fighting with them for a few months just to get my legal "30 days money back guarantee" and they still can't send me my money back
When my transmission went out the middle of the night, I was very grateful to have Delta Auto Protect. My dad had warned me about canceling my roadside assistance but I assured him that my warranty covered roadside assistance so there was no reason to pay for two services. I called Delta and they had somebody from the local tow company come out right away to tow my car to the nearest shop. Had I not been covered, would've had to of pay out of pocket for a tow right there and then. That would've been money that I do not have. I highly recommend Delta Auto. You will regret it , if you go with a different company.

First off, my car has been a big part of the family. My dad bought it for me even though it was used. I saw an ad about Delta Auto, so I called to check it out. They have very knowledgeable customer service reps which made the whole claims process a very easy for me to understand. The policies were very straight forward. The coverage was clearly explained, as well as the deductible. When I ran out of gas, I called them for help. They arranged for service to bring some gas. I was not stuck out for long
I had been having problems with my engine for at least a few weeks. It would sputter and make weird noises. I became increasingly worried when one day it just didn't turn on at all, so I called Delta Auto to see if they could fix it because I have an extended warranty with them. James arranged for a tow and a rental car as well. My car was towed to a local garage for repair. When it was ready for pick up, I simply paid my deductible. If you buy a used car, you should also get an extended warranty with Delta.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? All the 5 star reviews have been bought and paid for by them. Wait... let me rephrase... ALL THE 5 STAR REVIEWS HAVE BEEN BOUGHT! And probably NOT paid for!! Absolute worst scam. Paid $4000 for my SL55 extended warranty.. first claim in May 2018 out of the gate (which I covered half of) still not paid to the repair shop. They said if they would only get the bill from my shop, they would pay. Ummm... try 10 times that they've received it!! I even sent it to them, and they verified receiving it. I purchased an extended auto warranty from this company, and it was one of the more responsible decisions that I've made in my life. My windows would not roll down.
