I have been intending to comment on LeafFilter for over a year. My gutter was not finished in the back of the house, the drain pipes went through the deck which cause an accumulation of water and mud. There is still accumulating leaves and debris in the gutter. I don't recommend this company.

Just to let people know LeafFilters do not work in areas with pine trees. The pine tags just sit on top and collect and have to be manaully removed which means get out the ladders. Not like what their ads say.

After spending a small fortune on this supposedly great product at a second home my gutter still overflows regularly at a junction UNLESS I climb up and clean it. I have LeafGuard at my main house and have had zero problems. LeafFilter is fine IF don’t have trees. The company has been out twice and still the problem exists. Steve Harkins

We had this system installed today, yes on a Sunday!!!The three men were courteous, answered all our questions and were very efficient. They never complained about the high heat of the day, as they worked non stop. We have a large roof and they were done in 3 hours as planned. Their clean up was excellent. I have many, many gardens all around our house, they were careful to not disturb the plants, working around all the garden obstacles. Our gutters were filled to the brim with leaves and debris, even trees growing in them. The guys were very careful not to let the debris fall on our deck, driveway or my gardens. My comment is don’t BUY LEAF FILTER, I purchased leaf filter about 5 to 7 years ago and on the first hard rain, the water gushed off the gutters in torrents. So I called to report this and they came out and screwed pieces of metal on the gutter to block the rain running off. Well all that accomplished was the water hit the metal pieces and ran off on each side of the metal pieces that were installed, So I had to put up with water running off my guttering. Next the fine mess in the leaf guard got blocked up from the debris running down off the roof thus causing the water backing up under the facia and soffit and pouring down on my porch and steps and this has caused my concrete... I had LeafFilter install gutter guards on my home about two years ago, because I thought their system had the best chance of working, with the least chance of ice dams in winter. Mine were installed WRONG the first try (gaps in screens, wavy screens, improper tilting, etc). The second try reinstall was closer to correct. But even after second install, many of the guards are not tilted properly to allow debris to fall off the screens. As a result , I no longer have to clean OUT my gutters, just have to clean the LeafFilter screens OFF in several spots before it rains or else rain gushes over the guards and gutters. Below is part of the letter I finally wrote to the CEO about the issues we experienced but just like the other attempts to get resolved, I never heard back from him. LeafFilter does NOT follow up on it’s promise - that “once our ladders go up, yours can go down forever”. I brought to their attention that, not only did their product not live up to that promise, but that damage was being done to my home as a result of their installation. I lodged my complaint over a month ago; so far, not even the courtesy of a reply. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR FALSE PROMISES!

Save your money. Despite their promises, do not believe them. These only work if you do not have ant less near your home. My LeafFilters worked for several months and then the steel mesh clogged and turned my gutters into a waterfall. After complaining and their "service man" coming out to fix it twice, the third time he simply brought out about 20 pieces of the system and put them down on the porch and left. I had someone take off the old equipment and install the new pieces, I was told I had violated their lifetime warranty. I had LeafFilter installed in the Summer of 2020. The salesman said that I would not have to ever clean out my gutters again. Hogwash, the leaf filter system traps the leaves on the screen, and they don't blow off or wash off. Before I would clean out my gutters 2 times a year. Now I clean them every month. I would be better off without LeafFilter. I have four 90-degree intersection on the roof. At these intersections they installed a fence to distribute the water to the gutters all the fences does is trap debris.
