You are thieves. Some Leaf Filter sociopath from Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo came to my home and proceeded to give all kinds of quotes, the first one being more than I paid for my roof. Then he says he would give me a "special discount" because I was disabled = half of $8900. $8900 was good for 12 months. $3900 required a check to be written immediately and expired when he drove away. You people are crooks. Found out I could do it myself for under $500. I am sure my gray hair and disability told him I was a sucker. We had new gutters with LeafFilter gutter guards installed on our home and are very pleased with the appe arance of them. We had two different crews doing the work and both were very professional and arrived at their scheduled times. The crew that had to remove the old gutters and get the area primed for the installation of the new gutters and get them installed were very good; left all areas clean of debris. The crew to install the gutter guards arrived at their scheduled time the next day and finished the job. The salesperson we worked with was very knowledgeable of the product and explained everything. This is an update to the review I posted on July 3rd when I started my couple week wait for someone to show up and inspect the issues I was having with a new installation... The fill post is below this. So, after waiting a few weeks for someone to come out and inspect, guess what? The elbow where the water was pouring from was jam packed. The installers DID NOT live up to the contract of cleaning all gutters. The lower level had a shield attached near the base of the downspout to help with the rush from the second floor, but the technician believes it was probably because the one downspout was doing all the work due to the shoddy installation and jammed elbow. We signed a contract and it went downhill from there. Sales rep is apparently a contractor with no real association with the company. He won't return calls or texts. All phone numbers are just answering services with employees that have no info about any management contacts. Two no show appts for install and I still can't get a return call from anyone. The calls I have received are not working when you call back or have generic and full mailboxes. I am so very disappointed as the product appears to be good and it is highly rated in the market for gutter guards and gutter installations. Before you purchase this product, you had better make sure you have the correct type of soffits. I didn't know about this but after I paid thousand of dollars for the leaffilter gutter and installation I found out it doesn't work unless the gutters are attached to the soffit. Mine were installed by straps drilled into the shingles and hung by metal straps. The debris just piles up on the screens and the water runs off from that. I've tried since MARCH to get this resolved..even filing a complaint with the BBB. Nothing. Product seems good, however it took 5 appointments before we got an installer to the house. Most appointments, we didn't even get a call to say they weren't going to make it. We had to call them, but it didn't seem to matter. The salesman said it was about a 1 hr job, but finnally one person showed and it took more like 3 1/2 hours. Don't trust them. We finally got the install yesterday, and it looks like good work, but it was almost a month trying to get someone here to do the work
LeafFilter Gutter company installed their system in June of this year. The salesman was a true con-man! I asked specifically for a seamless system and he told me this system was seamless. A LIE! The price for this system was outrageous!! I had 79 feet of gutter to replace and was charged $47 dollars a foot! The installation had to be redone three times because it was improperly done. Just another scam business taking your money. Be weary of these guys. They have one thing in mind... your MONEY! Check the online complaints and the BBB and you will see what I mean.
I had leaf filter gutter guards and new gutter installed on my home on May 11, 2020. The product itself appears to be good and seems to work well. Unfortunately their installation crew was terrible and installed the new gutters angled in the wrong direction, they also leak at the seams where they were not sealed correctly. I reported these issues to the company and so far they have had 4 inspectors stop by, they all agree they were installed incorrectly, but for some reason Leaf Filter will not correct the problems. Terrible customer service, I would not recommend doing business with this company.
Had my estimate done in April 2020,decided to have the work done. Called the company to schedule a time for installation,was told that they would contact the scheduler. Waited two days [no calls].Called again two days later, same answer. called again four days later, same answer. Waited 7 days and called again and was told that a supervisor would contact me today 7/7/2020 it is now almost 6 hours later and no call!
