I started this process 2 months ago and still having issue. The first installer disappeared for 3 hours and didn't finish the job. Left dirt and screws all over the driveway and paths. He came late the next day and said he still wouldn't have time to finish as he someone waiting for him. Two installers later and I have gallons of water coming over the back of the house as the gutter is blocked. The first guy took off the old guards and as it has been 2 months they filled with debris. The last guy said they are clean and patent....he also said he didn't have any equipment to clear them if there was an issue ( as cleaning and ensuring the downspouts are patent are in the contract, why don't... I had leafFilter installed on November 30, 2018.
promises were made about total clean up and nothing left behind
everything removed from my gutters was strewn about my yard and even all over my driveway
not only that one side of house was not even installed
I called more than a week ago to complain and have not even had a call back
so much for the best in the business
Awful experience with LeafFilter Gutter Guard Company. The wooden boards under the gutter guards that LeafFilter installed are rotten! I called LeafFilter when I first noticed that the gutters were not draining. After a rain, two days later water is still dripping from gutters because water is not flowing through due to the clogging from debris. At time of installation, I was given The LeafFilter Lifetime Warranty which they informed me they no longer honor. I was told that if LeafFilter come to my house to inspect, it would be a non-refundable $95.00 service call. And if repairs are needed I would be responsible for all cost. We had LeafFilter Gutter Guards installed this week with prompt and courteous service. It began with Seth Ware who fully explained all "the workings" of their system. The next day they installed the Guards.....doing exactly what they said they would do. I'm looking forward to being able to keep my husband off a ladder and the roof to do the semi-annual cleaning.
Don't waste your money on this product. I would imagine the installation crew gets paid by the job because they were here and gone in less than an hour. I observed they were not cleaning out the gutters which was supposed to be part of the installation contract. When I asked about that I was told the gutters were not that dirty. So, they were dirty but not enough to warrant being wiped out. They left a downspout totally blocked which caused the gutter to overflow the first time it rained after the installation. Product does not work if you live where trees grow and there sales men lie. They told my wife and myself they would clean them if they ever got plugged and now They called and told me it would be 50 to come out. I’ve had them out around 8 times in a little over a year to unplug them. They DO NOT WORK AS DESCRIBED 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Buyer Beware!!! I am a73 year old woman who had bad cataracts when I had these installed on August 29, 2018 before our first rain in October. When the salesman demonstrated the product he showed me a new vinyl gutter with a guard. I assumed this to be the product I was purchasing since I have a small house and the total price was $5966. He told me there was a lifetime warranty on the product. The installer came out to install the product, but did not clean up the debris from the gutter guards that he took off he was here approximately 1 /2 hours he left leaving the debris behind. Not a professional install. Upon inspection of after install, I know that I could have done a better installation of product myself. One should closely supervise their work during installation to ensure a good job! Poor installion for being done by a professional.
We had the leaffilter gutter guard installed about a year ago. The installation was very professional and done on time. What we've seen over the year was that they do prevent leaves from clogging the gutters. They also keep you on the ground so no need to get on a ladder. The screens do get clogged up with the granules off the roof. If you have valleys in your roof or a multi tiered roof then you will get water running over the gutter. You'll also get more dripping over the gutter if you live in an area that gets snow.
i had leaf filter installed beginning of oct 2018 , two days later it rained , the water poured out between gutter and fascia , i called and they said they would get back to me . so i waited ,then two weeks later rick called to see how i liked my leaf filters , i told him that he was to call me back to get someone out to fix leaking problem , he said he forgot and three days later the guy called me and said the is no road named what my road is called in my town and that he was coming early , i was two towns away and tried to tell him the problem , but he didn't want to let me tell him what was wrong , so i asked him to let me talk but same thing , he left my house before i got home , i...
