Eargo hearing aids help wearers process and understand speech more clearly, amplifying mid and high auditory frequencies. The company's products were designed by an ENT surgeon with more than thirty years' experience in the field with thousands of patients. Products were subsequently tested by audiologists and hearing professionals before being put into production. Since wearers generally need time to readjust to the hearing audio frequencies they may have missed for years--similar to how eyes adjust to glasses or contacts--Eargo has built a team of licensed personal hearing professionals to help each client through this process.

Eargo devices are extremely discreet. They're so invisible, you truly have to look very closely to see the tiny black end of their hearing aids. Eargo is also very attentive to comfort. Every Eargo customer is assigned a licensed hearing professional for assistance after receiving the device. Customers are then able to book an introductory call and subsequent support calls as needed until they feel comfortable using the device. Eargo offers two types of warranties that come standard with its products. There is a 12 or 24-month manufacturer warranty that covers manufacturing defects. This will be void if the wearer modifies or damages the unit(s). Eargo also includes an uncommon loss & damage warranty which will cover devices that are lost or damaged beyond repair. In such cases, the company will send you replacements at a discounted rate.

I have worn hearing aids for over 30 years. I find the Eargo aids very comfortable with excellent sound quality. I have the Eargo 5 units. The cell phone app works great. I have no complaints with the aids. Customer service is top-notch.

I am not a big fish, do not play golf, I am not even good looking to post my pictures online. I am just a regular person who suffered for years of precocious hearing loss and went through many disappointments with hearing devices. I needed a discrete and effective hearing aid. When I ordered them form Eargo, I was cautious about a Company operating mainly online but it was the time of Covid and pandemic spread. I crossed fingers when I ordered. Customer service is terrible. I found the hearing aids uncomfortable with a lot of feedback and decided to return them within the 30 day period. The USPS shows them delivered to Eargo on 8/18/21. I've had no confirmation from Eargo that the aids were received from them and no confirmation of refund of money. So I tried to email and was told that the person that sent the return label to me could not answer my questions about receipt and refund. So I called. After holding for 30-45 minutes, I had to leave a call back number. This is the same number you're supposed to call if you need help with your aids. I have had Eargo Neo HiFi's for five months now and are a vast improvement over traditionally fitted hearing aids I have had in the past. The sound quality, fit, and invisibility are great. I am having issues now with both devices, as one quit functioning completely and the other takes a long time to initiate charging. Just off the phone with specialist and replacement devices being sent out under warranty.

Very good and trustworthy company. I have a pair of eargo neo hearing aids. My charge went bad and was replaced very simply and right awy. I have just ordered a pair of the new Eargo 5. Their customer service is good. Phone, email, or chat.

I upgraded the Eargo Max model after about two years of using them to the Eargo Neo HiFi in March 2021. The Max model served me quite well (I would give them 5 stars) and I replaced them largely because the batteries were unable to hold a full charge. My experience with the Neo HiFi model so far has been largely positive. I find the sound to be crisper and so my hearing is noticeably improved with them. My challenge with the Neo HiFi model, on the other hand, is that they are difficult to place in the charger so they make a good connection with the contacts in the charger. I have purchased the top of the line product which is somehow improves my hearing. The device is nothing special in comparison with the expensive behind the ears devices which had before. The major issue is that my Eargo device works for 6 months and then completely stops accepting charge. I have already returned them twice and received a new set per my 2 year warranty. Again, it has stopped working for the 3rd time and I am still in warranty period which entitles me to receive a new set. But, with this keeps happening, I will be out luck when my 2 year warranty expires. I have followed all the instructions I was given over the phone to prevent it from going bad, but nothing works....
