Eargo hearing aids help wearers process and understand speech more clearly, amplifying mid and high auditory frequencies. The company's products were designed by an ENT surgeon with more than thirty years' experience in the field with thousands of patients. Products were subsequently tested by audiologists and hearing professionals before being put into production. Since wearers generally need time to readjust to the hearing audio frequencies they may have missed for years--similar to how eyes adjust to glasses or contacts--Eargo has built a team of licensed personal hearing professionals to help each client through this process.

Eargo devices are extremely discreet. They're so invisible, you truly have to look very closely to see the tiny black end of their hearing aids. Eargo is also very attentive to comfort. Every Eargo customer is assigned a licensed hearing professional for assistance after receiving the device. Customers are then able to book an introductory call and subsequent support calls as needed until they feel comfortable using the device. Eargo offers two types of warranties that come standard with its products. There is a 12 or 24-month manufacturer warranty that covers manufacturing defects. This will be void if the wearer modifies or damages the unit(s). Eargo also includes an uncommon loss & damage warranty which will cover devices that are lost or damaged beyond repair. In such cases, the company will send you replacements at a discounted rate.

It + it is nice to hear what a person is talking about and not having some to ask if you heard all the person was talking about. I can say it is a pleasure to go to meeting and hear them talk and not having to ask people can to tell me what they were speaking about. The hearing aids work adequately, and I will continue to use them. However the lid for the case is VERY hard to get off due to the strong magnet! I have to have my husband pull open the case for me; my hands are not strong enough to get the lid off. Consider using weaker magnets!

I'm 75 and a first time user of hearing aids. I must say that I am very impressed with the Eargo 5. The ear buds work as anticipated, inconspicuous and well designed. They tickle a bit at first, but that goes away and except for better hearing you don't know they are there. The charger is attractive, fits in your pocket and carries an extra charge. The app has programs, controls and settings that are well thought out. They adjust the buds to several environments that you may find yourself in. Purchased Neo HiFi unit for trial period. Had numerous unsatisfactory problems (Charger defective, Left ear unit intermittent, . Had initial outanding Customer Support and Audio Consultant support with quick replacement of defective units. Then Upgraded to eargo 5 as dierwect exchange for unsatisfactory Neo HiFi. After eargo 5 was delivered, I was unable to get any contact with either Eargo Client Support, ( trying support by three alternate phone numbers and four support emails, (or by both methods) with Previous Audiologist. Following the well-documented instructions for set-up and use, the Eargo Max provided instant clarity, on just the lowest setting of 4 possible. Which shows the Eargo emphasis on clarity over simple amplification, really works. The Eargo audiologist who contacted me was very knowledgeable, and a great customer service person, leaving a substantial library of links to get the most out of the Max.

At first I was skeptical, but since they offered a 45 day trial, I took the risk and purchased. I am so glad that I did! I was wearing behind the ear Widex hearing aides and they work well for my moderate hearing loss. I was told that my ear canal was too small for in the ear models. These are much smaller and fit great. Somewhat uncomfortable the first couple of days, but not anymore. They work better than the Widex and the app is a great tool to control them. Best of all, you cannot see them. I highly recommend!

I have a Brand new set of Eargo 5 hearing aids, although I have had a couple of issues with the units, Eargo has stepped up to try and resolve them, as well as providing replacement units in a timely, manner.
