Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

This is the worst warranty company I have ever used. They do not cover anything or find ways not to cover anything they are a complete RIP off. I have not been able to use them for anything it's always an excuse of why we are not covered. My last warranty company covered everything without any issues. I can not wait to switch back. EVERYONE STAY AWAY THIS COMPANY IS FRAUD. CHARGED ME $75 PAYMENT AND COULD NOT REPLACE A $59 PART.

Not happy about the service knowing that I reported this issue back in October of 2019. The technician you had dispatched to my house clearly reported the same problem. So my question now is why you accepted to schedule another technician to diagnose the same issue? Thank you!

The representative was most helpful and said she would expedite our claim. I received a call from a maintenance technician within 3 hours of our conversation

If you want to get a response on a claim, it may take weeks to get a response on an approval or denial. So far, I have waited 10 days and still do not have a response from SHW. Also, read your warranty carefully, because they do NOT cover many things.

Had them out to fix furnace. They find any loop hole to not replace bigger items. I had multiple problems with my furnace and they offered no help or compensation. I have a toddler and I’m pregnant. It’s during the NJ state lockdown because of corona virus. I paid all this money for a home warranty, I wish I didnt!

Poor customer service, horrible (almost non-existent) follow up, failure to cover broken appliances on more then one occasion. I would never recommend Select Home Warranty to ANYONE.

I attempted to purchase from a competitor and the salesman was very disrespectful and rude..... and I ended up hanging up on him! After receiving a brochure from Select in the mail, I called and spoke to a very nice gentleman and ended up purchasing the Premium Pkg! Thank you!
