Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Not through with the claim as of yet, however prompt responses from SHW. Tech was out as scheduled and said my washer was unrepairable. Just waiting the 48hrs to hear from the resolution team. I hope all goes smoothly.

The customer service representative was very helpful as I followed up on a claim where a technician had not been assigned even though 48 hours had passed. He offered me the opportunity to find my own technician and they would reimburse me. I appreciated that flexibility but didn't take the option as it was Saturday so I didn't think I could find a technician myself. Within a few hours I did hear from Select that they had located a technician and I've scheduled them to come on Monday to fix my appliance.

Customer service was very helpful as I followed up on the fact that I still had not been notified of a technician assigned to my repair even after the 48 hours. He offered me the opportunity to find my own technician and they would reimburse me. I declined as it was Saturday and I doubted I could find one. They did line up a technician a few hours later and I expect them to come on Monday.

Sales rep told me I was covered up to $5K for heat and Air,after I explained that my system was old and I had it repaired about 1 yr prior and was my main concern about warranty, he assured me no problem. Paid yr upfront,$45 service call,2 months free,I thought it was so good I referred friend who bought 2yrs upfront. 11 months later, my heat is running on auxillary. Called Select, who hooked me up with company who said they will no longer work for them. Next contractor they had seemed pretty good(4 days later, They don't count weekends in the 48 hrs) and said unit needed to be replaced due to age and lack of available parts for it. Wow, super impressed. Having issues with the garage door, used the website to submit a claim. Was very easy. Shortly after, I was receiving a call from a repair company to schedule a date and time. So far, so good.
