Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

The representative was excellent in explaining everything about what is covered under Select Home Warranty policy and how the company works with you when you need them. Extremely helpful answering all questions and giving the history of the Company.

My representative was very helpful. Our heater was not working properly and during a colder than usually December in Minnesota it was so reassuring to have a wonderful representative help me expedite my claim and get help on the way. I am truly impressed with this warranty company and would recommend it to family and friend. Thank you Select Home Warranty, you eased my worries.

It’s been a couple days now, still trying to locate a technicians that is not backed up? Okay, good thing it’s not a gas leak! Maybe switching companies wasn’t such a smart idea?

SHW sent a vendor out and couldn't get vendor to call me back. SHW let me select my own vendor and will pay them. I liked that very much. Now have new garage door opener that is under warranty . Mark from Austin

SHW is very fast!!! and their staff is very knowledgeable in problems and gets me in touch with a repair person quickly. they also follow up and provide fast feedback on what is happening. I am very happy with them and the money we have spent on our Warranty has been well worth it.

The first time I called for a problem with my garage door they were here the next day. The tech was excellent and did a great job. No problems for the last 3 months. Now I placed a call for my cook top. I am waiting for a tech to call within the next 48 hrs.. Hopefully it will be another great experience.

Troy at Customer Service was superb. He was like an air-traffic controller. He walked me through the process of making a claim over the telephone (I know they prefer that it be done online, but I just don't have the time). I had two claims. I explained that I was very happy with the previous technicians who came to repair the dishwasher (they gave it whole new parts!). In this case, however, nobody could figure out where a leak is coming from. I asked Troy if he could get a seasoned plumber to uncover the mystery. He listened, gave me feedback the whole time so I knew what he was doing. I know people are complaining about Select, but my attitude is, you get more than what you paid for.... Read More
