Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

This is an scam, I paid 3 years of my warranty (my bad) first claim my a/c and the ask for the last 5 years records of service, ending in a 750 dollars claim I got 250, second claim my dishwasher broke, to fix it was 230, so they decide to paid 175 because the depreciation, but they just pay if I bought a new one so I have to spend 700 to get 175 from this scam, so I cancel the policy after 1 year out of the 3 I paid 1055, my reimbursed was 106.00, stay away from the big guste scam ever, this people just want your money and that is all. I learn from my mistake don’t let you happen the same

Do not use Select Home Warranty. They are terrible people. They are experts in doing everything possible to not pay your claim and it is the worst customer service I have ever gotten. If you don't have 3 years of service records on a broken item, they won't cover it. That's a joke. It's a scam.

It was very easy to submit my claim and I received information on the local service company for my repair quickly as well, within an hour or so. My only issue is with the local service provider. They sent me 3 separate options for days and times for them to come out, Nov 20th, between 8 and 12, Nov 21st between 12 and 4, or Nov 22nd between 8 and 12 which I was fine with. I then get a text from them saying they've confirmed my appointment date for Nov 26th between 8 and 4. So not only do they not confirm a date that they sent me as being available. They choose one a week away and then set the time as between 8 and 4, so I have to wait a whole week to get my refrigerator repaired, plus... Read More
