Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

The dish washer blades started warping so I needed replacment parts. It is very easy to make a claim and took about 3 weeks to get the new parts ordered and installed. Good communication with me via email.

Part of me was worried the claim would be considered my fault but nope! They were totally helpful and non judgemental and that is how a warranty company provider should be. I was already under a ton of stress and they really took the tip off.

BE AWARE. This is a horrible home warranty company. when you have a claim. They will tell you a lot of excuses & limitations of the policy just trying not to pay you or offer a few dollars. My furnace broke 2 weeks ago I did claim and nobody contact me I called them again and again finally they send somebody to diagnose. the contractor said one electrical part in your furnace is broken and needs to replace then he called to Selected Home Warranty and talk to somebody and they asked him for repair cost he gave them some numbers and I heard that almost $800.00 then SHW rep told them we need to get approval.so I was ended up with a $45 service call fee that day. anyway, next 48 hours I... The wide range of service offered got me to try a monthly plan, I have been using them for 6 months and just needed one appliance repaired. Two weeks was how long it took me to get through service and three days there after I had the technician. Time was fair and service was good.

Post service call I can give positive feedback on the service of my dish washer. It has always been a good product but the original installer used a cheap hose and now it was replaced with something more durable for the long term. Thanks for not cheaping out!

I live with my with and kids in a one floor split level with a crawl space. The crawl space was getting damp and was causing an odor. I called the service line and made an appointment for two weeks time. The timing could have been faster but they told me not to worry it was not an emergency. When they came they found a nearby pipe was leaking a very small amount of water and retighten it all up. Satisfied with the claim results.

We recently placed a call for repair to our pool pump. Unfortunately, SHW was unable to locate a company to come out to complete the repairs, however, did work together with our own pool company to approve the necessary repairs to get the pump fixed.

We ordered a platinum care package on our two rental units and whenever there is a problem the tenants can easily call up and request service on their apartment. It saves us time and money searching for handy men and gets results in an acceptable time frame.
