Good service, but need an updated contract with new service fee
Just getting started with this company. I was impressed with the gentleman I spoke to, and looking forward to working with them if needed in the future
I haven't had to use the company yet I just called and spoke with somebody on the phone and set up my policy and so far everything seems to be going well we'll see what happens when I actually have a problem and need someone to come out.
Great Customer Service when calling the corporate office. So far we are satisfied with having this policy.
Very positive experience overall. My rep helped me through the process and answered all my questions.
It was an easy process to get signed up. I do not know yet how well their service is but will re review once I need to use it!
Worst home warranty. Customer Service is in another country and that language barrier makes a big difference. I've had to contact them more than 20x times via phone, email, and finally escalate it to an actual person in the states to get issue resolved. And I had to provide 3 years of service on my pool system!
I was convinced to buy PLatinum Care home warranty for 3 years a few months back and told my water heater would be covered. Now my water heater leaked all over the basement and Select denied my claim. We are still without hot water 5 days later because the contractor that Select sent to our home still hasn't given us quotes for a water heater replacement!!! Even after multiple calls to them.
Unlike the glowing reviews I give this plan failing grades based upon my experience. I paid in full for the platinum plan. The company touts its service. I find it non existent. I have filed 3 service requests and after months they are still pending. Each time Select cannot find a service provider and instead asked me to find contractors for approval for both service and repairs. No contractor agrees to work under those circumstances. So I am stuck without service. I have wasted hours working to resolve and left requests for help. All to no avail. The service has proved to be an unmitigated disaster.
I trusted select home warranty. I did my research and I know that there are things that aren’t covered and other things that are. I am not a new homeowner, but what select did was absolutely deplorable! They had a technician come out and when he reported the issues with my unit he was told to put Freon in my system. They don’t cover Freon so why would they tell him to add it? Well, he didn’t and told me to call another technician.
