Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I am revising my previous 5 star rating. I was quoted a price for specific items covered. After I paid the premium and received my policy I noticed that one of the specific items I requested was not covered. I was quoted a price that included this item but after paying it's not. I have to pay another $100 to get the coverage I was quoted. This "bait and switch" tactic should be illegal. This company is a joke. Stay away.

Me my brother and my mom all have been covered with a Select Home Warranty plan for the past 3 years. My mom has used them the most making claims and always tells me how happy she is. I like having the peace of mind for future repairs and the cost of the thing is cost effective.

Good grief is all I can say. Having no heat for three days was terrible. Select was on the phone with me each day finding the best plumber and the best parts. The heat is on full blast and I have Select Home to thank!

Had a 5 year plan with them and never claimed until 3 years into it. Called them to file a claim on a leaking water heater, they send out a contractor I pay the call out fee and then select denied the claim because the water heater is leaking and leaks arnt covered apparently. They had all the information on the "leak" I was very clear on that calling in the claim they even have notes. So I'm out a water heater the call out fee and 5 year policy. Don't bother save your money.

Nasty stink coming from the carpet in my living room. I pulled it up and saw water. From underneath the house their was a pool of water. Claims was responsible and came out in 4 days time and fixed a whole found in the side of the house. They called me a few days later and I told them how happy I was with the work. This warranty was worth every penny.

Truly a gem in the warranty business. I expected delays caused by the holiday season and I still got an appointment and my repairs completed in four days. The contractor explained why I had a leak and showed me each step he did for repair. Great Guy

This home warranty sucks. I had rather lose half of my premium than fool with them. They are sorry. Don’t dare let them set upmmaintenance work. If you are lucky they may find someone in a week . Kinda hard when your car is stuck in the garage and you can’t get the door up.. the rudest bunch of customer service people. Definitely non. Americans.

This home warranty is not worth the paper it is signed on. They have failed to every process a claim saying the item was not covered under my plan when according to the contract it was covered.

Select Home warranty is good with handling small things around the house. Small plumbing problems are not a problem and have been covered. Calling time is normally quick and plumbers are very good at their profession. A+ happy customer here!

We just moved into the area a 6 months ago and we talked to our neighbors a lot. They are a very nice family. I was told they had a warranty to cover things around the house that insurance doesn't. I ordered a warranty for $400 and today we are finishing our claim on our toilet. The recommendation was good and I wanted to write something good for them thanks.
