Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Not a problem in the claim system. If was nice and quick. The appliance specialist could have done better though. He made a mistake and brought the wrong part and had to go back to the shop and come back again and set everything to go. At least he did it same day and was apologetic.

We have a very high pitch roof. The corner had to be patched by Select. What we saw was water dripping down and pooling in one corner. Select gave us an appointment on a weekday and the tech was late to the 3pm appointment. He got on the roof and used a special sealant and adjusted the tiles to drain properly. All in all very good process.

Moisture got into the heating vent emitting a foul oder. The process of having it replaced was as easy as pie and I had no troubles at all making my claim from online to offline.

The staff on the call center line gave me a claim number. I recieved emailed confirmation of scheduled time and date of an appointment window. I chose one and confirmed. 5 days later the appliance store came and made my thermostat work correcly again on the fridge. Would recommend to my friends if they need a warranty too.

Part of why I bought this was because I have an old roof and I wanted to save some money on roof workers. Savings so far have not been met on one repair however I did like the job and the final results.

When it comes to appliances they are reliable. I had a broken garbage disposal and a rusted dish washer coil and both were replaced in a one weeks time frame.
