Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

The ABSOLUTE WORST Home warranty company out there, use Yelp to get accurate reviews because not sure who the reviews on their website are from because they seem false. I had two claims with this company and both times they found a loophole to not repair or replace the item. One was a leaky toilet that they claim the repair guy they sent out did not get approval before fixing and the second claim was pool pump issue that they assigned two repairman to come fix the pump and the first guy told me he stopped working for Select over 6 months ago because they don't pay them after he did the work and the second guy told me they assign him cases to the customer and never tell the repairman as... This is the only thing I can say with my home warranty: Try them first and see the difference. Once you have tried them out, I don’t even think you would want to change or even wonder where have you been all this time. Bragging about what they can do is just not my style. I like and I will stay with Select Home Warranty. You don’t have to trust me, try it yourself.

The service of Select Home Warranty so far has been excellent. I have no issues, they answer their calls immediately, technicians are dispatched at a timely manner and most of all it is not as expensive as the other home warranties I checked on the market. I don’t have to worry at all no matter what time or day of the year, I know they will gladly come and help me out. Simply Excellent!

Be aware of #BeAwareOfSelectHomeWarrantyPolicy. If you do not have maintenance records, your AC repair expenses will not be reimbursed. In my case (issue date: 06/10), in hot summer (at 115F), I was out of AC for close to 10 days. After multiple calls, one representative asked me to pay for the repair out of my pocket and submit the invoice so that they could reimburse the expenses which I did. I waited for many days and then raised a request with BBB, but that was also closed as unresolved as they were not able to get response from selecthomewarranty (BBB ticket - 12921078). I had a few home warranties in the past. And I can tell you that it was a nightmare working with them. When I took a plan, I never thought it would be so frustrating. But with Select Home Warranty, it is different. I am satisfied with their service and the reps are very nice. I am a very stingy person so I get to really do my assignment before purchasing anything. I inspected/researched home warranties to their details. I hate making mistakes and wasting time. It took me quite some time to decide which of the home warranties to go with out there. So far, they have been delivering the services I need on a timely manner. I am pleased with the policy I have with Select Home Warranty and I would recommend them.

the rep was very helpful in renewing my contract and knowledgeable about other contract coverages and types of plans available to the customer. I like the plan I have and have had no claims this first year but renewed successfully and rep was polite. Satisfied customer and would recommend Select Home,.

I had no issues ever with this company. I got my a/c repaired and now I am in the process of getting a new microwave oven...they are pretty forward and the contract states everything you are or arnt cover for so far all my interactions with select has been pretty good.
